Kids in China Are Using Bots and Engagement Hacks to Look More Popular on Their Smartwatches

Ugh, I'm getting so tired of kids getting sucked into this whole social media thing at such a young age 🤯! These smartwatches are basically just encouraging them to be super competitive and fake people online 🤖. And it's not like parents aren't aware of what they're doing - it's like, "Hey, let me get you this watch that'll make your life so much more interesting... said no parent ever 😒. Newsflash: it's just a bunch of likes and badges, kids! You don't need all that drama in your life 🙅‍♀️.

And can we talk about how crazy it is that some kids are selling their old accounts for a profit? Like, what even is the point of that? 🤑 It's not like they're making any real money - just collecting virtual likes and badges. And don't even get me started on the "services" businesses that offer to boost their metrics... gross 💸.

I guess it's good that the government is starting to take notice, though 🙏. We need some guidelines in place for these companies to make sure they're not contributing to the whole internet addiction problem 😴.

omg this is soooo wild lol 🤯 these little genius watches r literally changing the way kids interact online! like they're not even really playing games anymore its all about gettin likes & badges & bein popular 📈 i mean idk wut's wrong w/ that? 🤷‍♀️ but seriously dont think its a good idea 2 buy these things 4 ur kid if u ask me. like, whats next? buying them a phone too? 😂 and btw ivy yang makes a point bout transactional relationships...its all about the benjamins 🤑
