Last Days review – Leith's opera imagining the final moments of Kurt Cobain is truly disturbing

OMG u guys I just saw this opera thing at the Linbury theatre and it was SOOOO intense 🤯!!! They're literally using Kurt Cobain's music to create this whole immersive experience where u feel like ur stuck in his last days. The sound design is straight up mindblowing - it's like they took all these different sounds and mashed them together into something that's literally unsettling 😳. I mean, who knew banjo-style strumming could be so creepy?! 😂 And the way they're manipulating the timbre to make strings sound like siren sounds... ugh it gave me chills 🥶! I don't wanna give away too much but let's just say it makes u question what's real and what's not... is ur mind playing tricks on u or is this some sorta supernatural vibes? 🤔😬
 
omg i just saw this opera thingy and it was SOOOO weird in a good way 🤯 i mean, its like they took kurt cobains life and music and turned it into this super haunting and disturbing opera... my friend who went to see it said the sound design was insane lol like how they used banjo strumming to make it sound all creepy 😂 but what really got me was when they started manipulating the timbre and making it sound like reality was bending or something its so trippy! 🤪 i'm still thinking about it and its been days since i saw it...
 
Wow 🤯 this opera thingy sounds crazy cool! I mean, who would've thought to turn Kurt Cobain's last days into an opera? It's like a psychological thriller, man... the way they're blurring sound and reality is giving me chills 😱. And Patricia Auchterlonie as a superfan, that's so intense 🤯. The set design sounds straight out of a fever dream, I'm intrigued to see it in person 😲
 
just saw this opera thingy about kurt cobain's final days and i gotta say its giving me major chills 🤯. the way they've woven together sound and reality is super unsettling, like you're walking on thin ice trying not to fall into this world that blurs between what's real and what's just noise 🎵. its like ur stuck in this never-ending loop where nothing makes sense and u r just tryna find ur way out 👀. anyway, gotta say patricia Auchterlonie as the superfan is on point 🤩
