Lego's first Pokémon sets are now available for pre-order

Lego and Pokémon enthusiasts can rejoice as the first-ever sets based on the iconic franchise are now available for pre-order. The partnership has yielded three distinct kits, each showcasing a beloved Pokémon in Lego form.

The 2,050-piece Pikachu set is priced at $200 and comes with an assortment of interchangeable parts to recreate the character either ready for battle or resting peacefully. Another model featuring Eevee boasts 587 pieces and can be purchased for $60. However, for those willing to invest in a more substantial display piece, there's also a trio-set containing Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, with an impressive 6,838 pieces at a price tag of $650.

But before placing your order, it's worth considering the potential aesthetic challenges associated with Lego's brick-based construction. For example, Pikachu's rounded cheeks appear slightly incongruous when built using square blocks, leading to doubts about whether these creations can truly capture their original charm. Nevertheless, fans of both brands are urged to get in on this unique opportunity.

As pre-orders kick off, it remains to be seen how well these Lego Pokémon sets will translate into a delightfully brick-tastic experience for enthusiasts worldwide.

🤔 I'm low-key excited about the new Lego Pokémon sets, but at $200 and up, they're kinda pricey 🤑. I mean, can you imagine shelling out that kind of cash just to build some adorable Pikachu with rounded cheeks? 😂 It's like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole - it's gonna be an interesting challenge for Lego to make these characters look cool in brick form.

I'm more down for the smaller Eevee set, though - $60 is doable for a quick build and some fun. And hey, if you're a die-hard Pokémon fan or a Lego enthusiast, these sets might just bring a smile to your face 😊. But for casual fans, it's like wondering if the picture's on the box is really worth the price tag... 🤷‍♀️

I'm super stoked about the new Lego Pokémon sets 🤩! I mean, who wouldn't want to see their favorite Pokémon brought to life in this awesome interplay of color and creativity? The attention to detail is pretty spot on, especially with those interchangeable parts that let you customize your build. But for me, it's more than just about the bricks - it's about capturing the essence of these iconic characters.

Now, I gotta say, there might be some aesthetic limitations when building these sets. I mean, Pikachu's cheeky roundness is a bit jarring when you're working with square blocks 🤔. Still, I'm confident that Lego has done their homework and can deliver something truly special. It's all about embracing the playful spirit of both franchises - who doesn't love playing with Legos or catching Pokémon? At this point, it's gonna be interesting to see how these sets turn out in real life. Am I right if I say I'm totally pre-ordering that Pikachu set? 🛍️

man i'm so down for some legit legit lego pokémon sets!!! 🤩 but gotta say, 650 bucks for the big one is kinda steep even for me 😅 can you imagine having that much space dedicated to just three figures? 🤯 still would be a dream come true tho, got my eye on the eevee set tho, 60 bucks is more like it 💸 and i'm all about those interchangeable parts, that's the real icing on the cake 🍰

I'm not sure about these new Lego Pokémon sets 🤔... I mean, have you seen the price of that Pikachu one? $200 is just crazy 💸! It's like they're charging us per brick 🧮. And what's up with the blocky faces? Pikachu's cheeks are supposed to be all round and cute, not chunky square ones 😐. I'm all for nostalgia and fun, but can we really expect these to look like their actual Pokémon counterparts? 🤷‍♂️ Still, if you're a die-hard fan, I guess it's worth a shot... or should I say, a brick 💥.

OMG, I'm so stoked about these new Lego Pokémon sets 🤩! I mean, who wouldn't want to build their fave Pkmn in brick form? The attention to detail is gonna be sick, especially with all the interchangeable parts for Pikachu's adorable cheeks 🐰. But, let's get real, 200 bucks for a 2050-piece set might be a bit steep... I'd wanna see some pics before I cop it 😳. Anyone else excited to build their own Pkmn empire? Can you imagine having a whole room full of these sets? Mind blown 🤯!

🤔 I'm so down for this! I mean who doesn't love Legos and Pokémon? I've already got my eyes on the Pikachu set - 2,050 pieces sounds like a lot of fun to build, but $200 is kinda steep if you ask me. Eevee's 587 piece set seems more reasonable though. I'm curious about how they'll look in real life... will they be super detailed or just have some basic features? I've seen some fans already building their own Lego Pokémon creations online and it looks like a lot of work, but also super satisfying 😊

I'm low-key excited about these new Lego Pokémon sets 🤩👀. I mean, who wouldn't want to build and play with their favorite Pokémon in 3D? But you know what's gonna be a bit of a stretch – the square blocks just don't match those cute rounded cheeks on Pikachu 😂. I'm thinking back to when I used to spend hours building my Lego castle sets as a kid, it was all about the smooth, symmetrical bricks... these new ones are like trying to force square pegs into round holes 🤯.

Still, I guess it's cool that they're giving us this unique chance to relive our childhood memories and share them with our own kids one day 👧🏻. As for me, I'm probably gonna wait until the reviews come out before pulling the trigger... wish me luck on building the perfect Pikachu! 🤞

I'm really excited about the new Lego Pokémon sets 🤩! I mean, who wouldn't want to build and display their favorite Pokémon in all these awesome detail? The attention to scale is pretty impressive too - like, have you seen the size of that Pikachu set? 2,050 pieces is a lot to handle, but for the right fan, it'll be an amazing project.

I'm kinda worried about how they did with some of the facial expressions, though 🤔. Like, I get why the cheeks might look a bit off on Pikachu... But I'm hoping my own set will turn out all right 😊. The Eevee one looks so cute! And that big Venusaur/Charizard/Blastoise set is just crazy 🤯... it's like they knew we'd need something epic to show off.

I do wonder if the sets are gonna hold up over time, or if some parts will get lost in the shuffle 💡. Either way, I think this partnership is a win-win for both Lego and Pokémon fans 🎉!

I'm so stoked about these new Lego Pokémon sets 🤩! I mean, who wouldn't want to build and collect their fave Pokémon in Lego form? The Pikachu set is totally worth the investment, even if it's on the pricier side... 2k pieces ain't nothing! 😂 But yeah, I can see how some of the design choices might be a bit wonky. Those little cheeks on Pikachu are just so cute on paper, but in real life? Not so much 🤔. Still, I'm down to give it a try and see what kind of masterpieces I can create. Anyone else planning on getting in on this action? 💥

OMG, I'm SO down for these new Lego Pokémon sets!!! 🤩 I mean, who wouldn't want to build and play with their favorite Pokémon in Lego form? But, gotta say, the prices are kinda steep... like, can you imagine paying $650 for a set of 6,838 pieces? That's more than my monthly rent lol. And, yeah, the brick thing is gonna be an issue... I've seen some vids where Pikachu looks kinda weird with those square blocks, but I guess that's part of the charm, right? 🤔 Still, I'm super stoked to see these sets go up for pre-order and can't wait to get my hands on 'em! 💖

I'm not sure about these new Lego Pokémon sets... 200 bucks for a Pikachu that looks kinda wonky? 🤔 I mean, I love the nostalgia of playing with Legos as a kid, but have you seen how tiny they are compared to the actual Pokémon? It's like, what's the point of building something that small and fragile? And don't even get me started on the price tag for those big sets... 650 bucks?! That's just crazy talk! 💸 I guess fans of both brands will just have to shell out the cash and see if it's worth it. 🤷‍♀️

man i'm kinda hyped about these new lego pokémon sets 🤩 but at the same time im thinking its gonna be a bit of a stretch for them to capture that anime spirit what if pikachu's cheeks look all wonky or something? idk how well they'll turn out, but 650 bucks for those big ones is pretty steep 🤑 maybe ill just stick with my old fave lego pokémon sets from like 10 years ago... 😐 still excited to see what these sets look like when they drop tho! 💻

omg 😍🤩 just saw the new lego pokémon sets and i'm totally stoked 🚀💥 pikachu is literally so cute in block form 👀 but maybe the cheek thing is gonna be a bit of an issue lol 😂 also can't wait to see eevee's build, it looks kinda awesome 🤔 650 bucks though 🤑 is that even worth it? 🤷‍♀️ either way, lego pokémon collab is a win in my book 🏆💖

I'm so down for these new Lego Pokémon sets! 🤩 They're gonna look awesome in my living room and I can already imagine the hours of fun I'll have building and playing with them 😆. But, gotta say, 2k pieces for Pikachu is a bit steep, even for me 🤑. What do you guys think about the sets? Are they worth the hype? Should Lego make more smaller ones like Eevee's set? Maybe that'd be a good starting point... and then we can move on to those massive Venusaur & Blastoise ones 💪. Can't wait to get my hands on them! 👍

🤔 I think the prices for those big-ticket items could be pretty steep. I mean, who needs 6,838 pieces in their life? 😂 But hey, if you're a die-hard fan of both Lego and Pokémon, I guess it's worth splurging on that massive Venusaur set. On the other hand, I think the Eevee model is a great value for its price. It's like, $100 for 587 pieces isn't too shabby. 🤑 And can you imagine having a Pikachu with interchangeable parts? That's just too cool! 😎

I'm intrigued by the whole thing, but I need to see some pics of these sets before I invest my cash 🤔. The idea of Pikachu's cheeks looking kinda off in 3D might be a bit of a letdown... how do they plan on handling that detail? Also, $650 for 6,838 pieces? That's a pretty steep price tag 🤑. Don't get me wrong, I love both Lego and Pokémon, but I'd want to see some reviews from other fans before I buy. Anyone got the scoop? 😐

Omg, who needs the real thing when you can have tiny Pikachu in plastic 😂👀 Those sets are straight fire! 650 bucks for a giant Venusaur tho? Worth it or nah? 🤑🔥

🤩 I'm so stoked about the new Lego Pokémon sets! I mean, who wouldn't want their childhood faves brought to life in a whole new way? The attention to detail on these kits is insane - from Pikachu's little cheeks to Eevee's adorable ears, it's clear that fans are going to be blown away. But, gotta say, the brick-based construction does make me wonder if they'll really capture that signature Pokémon charm... will we be able to totally replicate those iconic looks or will they end up looking more like, well, Lego? 🤔 Either way, I'm definitely pre-ordering the Venusaur set - it's a total beast of a kit with 6,838 pieces! That price tag is still steep for me, but it'll be worth it to show off my collection. Bring on the brick-tastic fun! 😄

🤔 I'm kinda torn about these new Lego Pokémon sets 🤷‍♂️. On one hand, I think it's awesome that they're finally bringing the beloved franchise to life in such an iconic way 💥! But, on the other hand, I'm not sure if it's entirely necessary to have so many pieces 🤯... like 6,838?! 😱 That sounds kinda crazy expensive 💸. And, yeah, Pikachu's cheeks do look a bit wonky with those square blocks 👀. Still, I guess it's cool that they're trying something new and experimenting with their brick-based style 🎨. Should be interesting to see how fans react to these sets once they drop ⏰!
