Leicester Tigers edged closer to the play-off places with a dominant 36-28 win over Saracens at Welford Road, thanks in large part to Adam Radwan's double.
The fifth-placed Tigers built an early lead through tries from Freddie Steward and Olly Cracknell before Saracens pulled back through a try from Theo McFarland. However, Leicester regained control with further scores from Radwan and Joe Heyes, putting the hosts in a commanding position.
Saracens responded with two more tries before the break, courtesy of Rhys Carre and Juan Martin Gonzalez, but Radwan's interception try put the game beyond the visitors. He scored his second try after good work from Ivan van Zyl, securing the bonus point for Leicester on the verge of half-time.
The Tigers came out strong in the second period, with Searle delivering a perfectly weighted grubber kick that Steward was able to dot down. However, Saracens still managed to score two more tries before Radwan's double sealed the win for Leicester.
Leicester head coach Geoff Parling praised his team's effort and said that they needed to improve on their breakdown performance. Radwan, meanwhile, credited his team's increased intensity from last week's review and acknowledged that every time he plays at Welford Road is a big game for him.
For Saracens, director of rugby Mark McCall was left disappointed by the team's lack of fight in the first 15 minutes before being worn down by repeated drives from close range. The loss maintains their sixth-placed position, while Leicester have built a four-point gap to Saracens below them and are only two points behind Bristol Bears in fourth.

36-28 is like my aunt's gossip – it never ends! But seriously though, that Leicester game was a real nail-biter. Saracens thought they had it in the bag after going up by 14 points but then Leicester came out swinging and basically put it on ice for them. I've got to give credit where credit is due tho, Radwan's got skills, he's like the rugby equivalent of a Ninja Turtle 
man I was watching this game and it got me thinking... what is the value of winning for these teams? I mean on the surface it's just about points and a spot in the playoffs, but when you think deeper about it... is it really just about personal satisfaction or does it tap into something more fundamental like identity? For Leicester, getting to the playoffs must mean that they're on the right track in terms of their team culture and values... but for Saracens, being stuck in sixth place means they might be losing a bit of momentum, maybe questioning their own direction and purpose. It's not just about one game or one win, it's about how you respond to setbacks and keep pushing forward...

. i think geoff parling said something about improving their breakdown performance, but honestly who cares when you're winning like this

adam radwan's double sealed the deal for them! i mean, saracens had some good try's but they just cudnt catch up. i think geoff parling is right tho, breakdown perfomance needs 2 improve if they wanna make it into playoffs. leicester tigers r getting closer and closr tho 
I'm glad to see Leics bouncing back from that loss against Exeter, but gotta say, their breakdown performance still needs major work 
. They're playing some solid rugby, but when it matters most, they get sloppy and concede tries. Still, Adam Radwan's been on fire this season

. Mark McCall was right to be disappointed, you can't just get dominated like that and expect to win. But I gotta say, their tries were quite impressive! Rhys Carre's try was crazy
