Leicester 36-28 Saracens: Adam Radwan double edges Tigers closer to play-off places

Leicester Tigers edged closer to the play-off places with a dominant 36-28 win over Saracens at Welford Road, thanks in large part to Adam Radwan's double.

The fifth-placed Tigers built an early lead through tries from Freddie Steward and Olly Cracknell before Saracens pulled back through a try from Theo McFarland. However, Leicester regained control with further scores from Radwan and Joe Heyes, putting the hosts in a commanding position.

Saracens responded with two more tries before the break, courtesy of Rhys Carre and Juan Martin Gonzalez, but Radwan's interception try put the game beyond the visitors. He scored his second try after good work from Ivan van Zyl, securing the bonus point for Leicester on the verge of half-time.

The Tigers came out strong in the second period, with Searle delivering a perfectly weighted grubber kick that Steward was able to dot down. However, Saracens still managed to score two more tries before Radwan's double sealed the win for Leicester.

Leicester head coach Geoff Parling praised his team's effort and said that they needed to improve on their breakdown performance. Radwan, meanwhile, credited his team's increased intensity from last week's review and acknowledged that every time he plays at Welford Road is a big game for him.

For Saracens, director of rugby Mark McCall was left disappointed by the team's lack of fight in the first 15 minutes before being worn down by repeated drives from close range. The loss maintains their sixth-placed position, while Leicester have built a four-point gap to Saracens below them and are only two points behind Bristol Bears in fourth.

The result brings Leicester Tigers one step closer to securing a play-off place, with the team now in fifth position.

I mean, can you believe how well Radwan's done for himself? Double the fun, double the try! πŸ˜‚ 36-28 is like my aunt's gossip – it never ends! But seriously though, that Leicester game was a real nail-biter. Saracens thought they had it in the bag after going up by 14 points but then Leicester came out swinging and basically put it on ice for them. I've got to give credit where credit is due tho, Radwan's got skills, he's like the rugby equivalent of a Ninja Turtle πŸ₯Ά

πŸ€” man I was watching this game and it got me thinking... what is the value of winning for these teams? I mean on the surface it's just about points and a spot in the playoffs, but when you think deeper about it... is it really just about personal satisfaction or does it tap into something more fundamental like identity? For Leicester, getting to the playoffs must mean that they're on the right track in terms of their team culture and values... but for Saracens, being stuck in sixth place means they might be losing a bit of momentum, maybe questioning their own direction and purpose. It's not just about one game or one win, it's about how you respond to setbacks and keep pushing forward... πŸ’ͺ

omg I'm so hyped for leicester tigers!!! 🀩 their win against saracens was insane! Adam radwan is like a superhero on the pitch lol he scored that double try and it was all thanks to the team's increased intensity from last week's review πŸ™Œ. i think geoff parling said something about improving their breakdown performance, but honestly who cares when you're winning like this πŸ˜‚? saracens just couldn't get anything going in the first half, and leicester just kept pushing forward with those tries from freddie steward and olly cracknell πŸ”₯. now they're just two points behind bristol bears for 4th place, i'm rooting for them all the way! πŸŽ‰

omg, leicester tigers r on fire!!! πŸ˜† adam radwan's double sealed the deal for them! i mean, saracens had some good try's but they just cudnt catch up. i think geoff parling is right tho, breakdown perfomance needs 2 improve if they wanna make it into playoffs. leicester tigers r getting closer and closr tho 🀞

πŸ‰ I'm glad to see Leics bouncing back from that loss against Exeter, but gotta say, their breakdown performance still needs major work 😐. They're playing some solid rugby, but when it matters most, they get sloppy and concede tries. Still, Adam Radwan's been on fire this season 🀩! 2 tries at Welford Road is a big confidence booster for him. Saracens, on the other hand, just didn't bring their A-game. Mark McCall needs to take a hard look at his team's tactics and get them fired up before the playoffs πŸ’ͺ. Still, 4 points behind Bristol, that's not too shabby... πŸ€”

So Leics finally got that win they needed to boost their hopes of makin' the playoffs! Adam Radwan was on fire, scored those 2 tries and basically sealed it for them 🀩. Saracens were all over the place, couldn't get anything goin' in the first half and then just kinda gave up 😐. Leics need to keep that momentum goin', can't let their foot off the pedal now πŸ’ͺ. And y'know what's even more annoying? Those breakdowns are still a major issue for them πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ, gotta sort that out if they wanna take it all the way!

I just got back from the most random road trip to the countryside and I'm still thinking about it πŸš—πŸŒ³... So yeah, this rugby game was pretty intense, but you know what's even more intense? The new season of that one show I love πŸ˜‚. I mean, have you seen the latest episodes? The plot twists are crazy! And can we talk about the cinematography for a sec? It's like they hired a total pro πŸ“Έ. Anyway, back to the game... Adam Radwan is on fire this season πŸ”₯ and I'm loving how Leicester is really pulling it together as a team πŸ‘.

omg u gotta feel for saracens they got destroyed out there lol, i mean 36-28 is a big gap to make up but u gotta respect leicester's intensity they came out strong in that second half 🀯 and radwan just had an insane game, like 2 tries & an interception try wow what can ur say? parling said they need to work on their breakdown, maybe they should watch some vids lol, anyway saracens are still gonna bounce back from this i love em 😊

omg, Adam Radwan is on fire πŸ”₯! that double try sealed the win for Leicester and it's so satisfying to see them take down Saracens 🀩. i think Radwan's intensity from last week really paid off and made a big difference in this game πŸ’ͺ. leicester's breakdown performance was still a bit wonky but overall they looked super strong πŸ‘. Saracens just couldn't match their energy and it showed 😊. mark McCall needs to figure out what went wrong for his team because 15 minutes of lackluster play isn't gonna cut it πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ

OMG, I'm so hyped for Leicester Tigers!!! 🀩 They absolutely crushed it against Saracens at Welford Road! Adam Radwan's double was EVERYTHING πŸ”₯πŸ’ͺ - the guy's on fire! πŸš€ The way they built that early lead and just kept pushing forward was sick πŸ’¨. And let's be real, their intensity in the second half was unmatched πŸ”„πŸ”’ Saracens just couldn't keep up with those Tigers! πŸ˜‚ As for Radwan, I'm loving the confidence boost after last week's review πŸ’ͺπŸ’« - he's like a new man on the pitch! πŸ‘Š Mark McCall needs to get his team together ASAP, though... that first 15 minutes was straight out of nowhere πŸŒͺ️. Anyways, Leicester Tigers are one step closer to those playoffs and I couldn't be more stoked πŸ˜ƒ #TigersAreOnFire #PlayoffBound #RadwanIsTheMan

omg lol leicester tigers r on fire rn!! adam radwan is straight fire, 2 tries and an interception try πŸ€©πŸ‰. i no its not just him tho, whole squad played well & showed alot of heart! coach geoff parling said they need to work on breakdowns but i think they got this 😊. saracens r still good tho, mark mccall wasnt happy tho... anyway, leicester's one step closer 2 play off places πŸŽ‰πŸ†

OMG I just saw this match and Adam Radwan is literally on fire!! πŸš€πŸ’₯ He's like a different player out there when he plays at Welford Road! I'm not surprised the coach praised his intensity from last week's review, that guy's been grinding all season.

I feel bad for Saracens though, they just got caught with their pants down in the first 15 minutes πŸ˜…. Mark McCall was right to be disappointed, you can't just get dominated like that and expect to win. But I gotta say, their tries were quite impressive! Rhys Carre's try was crazy πŸ’₯.

What I'm most impressed by is how Leicester's squad depth is really showing this season. They've got all these talented players who can step up when it matters. Searle's grubber kick was a game-changer too 🀯, that's what separates the teams at this level.

Can't wait to see them take on Bristol Bears next week! βš”οΈ Will they be able to hold onto 4th spot? Fingers crossed for Leicester 😊

I mean, can you believe it? They actually managed to win a game when they're down by like 10-15 points πŸ˜‚. I guess that's what happens when you have a try or two from your star player, Adam Radwan πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. Saracens should've just accepted the loss and been done with it, but noooo, they had to go and keep trying and scoring πŸ™„. It's like they wanted to make it more interesting than necessary πŸ˜’. Anyways, nice job to Leicester for finally getting that win under their belt πŸ’ͺ.

So I'm loving how Leicester Tigers are crushing it this season 🀩! Adam Radwan is literally on fire πŸ”₯, that guy's gotta be one of the most consistent try-scorers in the league right now. And let's give some props to Freddie Steward and Olly Cracknell for getting those early tries in - they really set the tone for the game.

But what's even more impressive is how the Tigers came back strong after Saracens pulled ahead a bit 🀯. I mean, Radwan's double try was just clutch πŸ™Œ, and that bonus point before half-time was like the icing on the cake. And the second half was all Leicester, man 😎.

I'm also feeling good about their chances of making the playoffs now πŸ’ͺ. They've built a nice gap between them and Saracens, and they're just two points behind Bristol Bears in fourth - that's definitely achievable with some more consistent performance from their team 🀞.

OMG, Radwan is on FIRE πŸš€πŸ”₯! Like seriously, that guy's got game! πŸ˜† His double was everything and more! I'm so stoked for Leicester, they're killing it this season πŸ”₯πŸ’ͺ. Saracens were like a bunch of wet paperbags out there, couldn't even get past the Tigers' D πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. And what's with all these bonus points? It's like Radwan's just trolling them at this point 😜. BTW, can we get more grubber kicks from Searle?! That was SICK πŸ”₯

omg did u see that game 🀯 leicester tigers just smoked saracens 36-28 at welford road ! adam radwan's double was EVERYTHING πŸ’₯πŸ”₯ i drew this pic to show how well radwan played πŸ”

Saracens was all over them in the first half, but radwan's interception try changed everything πŸ”„

anyway, leicester tigers are one step closer to play-off places and it's looking like they might just make it πŸ’ͺ

I just love rugby πŸ˜‚ I'm still trying to get into it though, so many teams and rules... I think what I liked about this game was that Adam Radwan scored two tries 🀩 his interception try was insane! I wish they showed more replays of that play... oh wait, I know they do! πŸ“Ί What's the point of the bonus points thingy? Is it like a extra award or something? Can someone explain it to me in simple terms?

omg u guyz i cant believe leicester tigers pulled off that crazy win over saracens 🀯 their team effort was insane, and thats gotta count for somethin! freddie steward & olly cracknell got those early tries and set the tone for the rest of the game... but radwan's double sealed it πŸ”₯ and now they're just 2 points behind bristol bears in 4th place 😲 anyways, gotta give props to the coaches too - geoff parling called out their breakdown issues and we need those improvements ASAP! πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
