OMG what's going on with this guy?? he's been living here for like 10 yrs & has a super rare skin condition that makes it hard for him to eat anything but soft food and now ICE comes out of nowhere & detains him just because his status has "changed" ?!?! how is that even possible?! he's basically been living here for so long & trying to get treatment for this awful condition... the US gov should be helping him, not deporting him! Duglof's story is literally heartbreaking and it highlights how messed up our asylum system is. Can't believe they're detaining ppl w/ health issues & leaving them in cramped conditions like that ... someone needs to step in here ASAP!
omg this is so messed up , i cant even think of what to say right now...ICE detaining some guy with a rare skin condition in minnesota just because he wasnt in his "right" papers? like whats the point of even having laws if u can just deport ppl w/o considering their health?! my heart goes out to hani and his fam, they dont deserve this stress & suffering
this is so messed up... I mean like have you seen those documentaries on how ICE is basically just targeting people at random? it's like they're trying to break spirits or something... i'm not saying Hani did anything wrong, but come on, he has a RARE skin condition that makes eating soft foods necessary! what kind of hospital care would be safe for him in detention? and now he's stuck with blisters and discomfort... it's just cruel. I think the whole thing is just a ploy to distract us from the real issues, like how many ppl are being swept up in these raids without even getting a fair hearing...
ICE detaining people with rare medical conditions is just not right . Hani Duglof's story is so heartbreaking - he's been living in the US for over 10 years, studying and working to find a cure for his condition, and yet ICE still decides to take him away from everything he's built here. It's not just about deporting people who are undocumented, it's about respecting their humanity too .
I mean, what's the point of being in a country if you can't access basic medical care? And what about all the people who have been living here for years without any issues? Why should they be penalized for something that wasn't even on their radar when they first came here? It's not just an issue with Hani Duglof's case, it's a bigger problem that needs to be addressed.
We need to find a way to make sure that people like Hani are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their immigration status. And ICE needs to do some serious rethinking about how they're conducting these detentions. It's just not fair .
I'm just so worried about Hani's story. Detaining someone with a rare skin condition like EB is just cruel. The conditions at the facility he was held in are already tough, but to make it worse by leaving him without access to the food he needs... it's just heartbreaking. And the fact that ICE claims his status had changed and could deport him without even considering the meds he needs? It's like they're throwing a person out into the wild with no support system. I mean, how are people supposed to navigate this immigration system when there's just so much lack of empathy?
