I'm low-key bummed about this development - it's a big blow to the PGA Tour's efforts to bring back some of their top talent! Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, and Cam Smith are all set to stick with LIV Golf, which is gonna make things super tough for them if they ever wanna come back. And now, I'm hearing that Brooks Koepka might've been the catalyst for this whole thing? Not sure what the PGA Tour was expecting here... anyway, it's clear that these guys are all in on LIV Golf for the foreseeable future
These top golfers gotta do what's best for them, and it's clear they're all-in on LIV Golf . The PGA Tour is trying to lure them back, but it's like they're speaking a different language . Either they're not offering enough or the culture just isn't right . I guess we'll see how this new returning member programme shakes out in 2026 .
I'm not surprised, to be honest... those three guys are smart, they know what's best for them and their pockets . LIV Golf is giving 'em a better deal, plain and simple. They're all set to get a bigger chunk of the prize money and still play golf, so why bother with the PGA Tour? It's like they're saying "screw it" to the old tour and taking the cash. And good on them, too... they know how to look out for number one
I'm curious what's going on here... I think the PGA Tour is getting outsmarted by LIV Golf again . These top players are like, super committed to their new league and it's hard to blame them after all the drama that went down between LIV Golf and Phil Mickelson .
It's also interesting to see how Brooks Koepka's return was a game-changer for this whole situation... did he just spark a chain reaction or what?
I'm kinda worried about the PGA Tour though, it seems like they're throwing everything at these top players and it's not working . Are they gonna have to rethink their strategy if they want to bring back some of these big names?
What do you guys think? Am I just being a skeptic or what's really going on here?
I'm so bummed about Rahm and co leaving the PGA Tour deal . I get it, LIV Golf is giving them some serious cash and opportunities, but it's like they're choosing golf over their own country's fans . I hope Brooks Koepka's return to the PGA Tour helps bring back more big names, maybe we can see some of these LIV Golfers come crawling back . Anyway, I'm all about DIY solutions for my golf game , like using a drone to measure my swing and make adjustments... that stuff is genius!
