Long-lost Rubens painting depicting crucifixion of Jesus Christ sells for $2.7 million

🎨 just imagine having that painting in ur room lol its like a dream come true! i heard its gonna be part of some museum collection now so people can see it for free 🙌 but 2m is still pretty crazy considering its been hidden away 4 centuries 😂 and it wasnt even known if its even real until they did those tests 🔍 what would u do if u saw that painting in person?

omg I cant even believe this painting just resurfaced!!! 🤯 400 years hidden away and now its worth 2.7 million?!?! thats insane! i mean i know rubens was a legendary artist and all but wow...I wonder who the private collector was that bought it for so long ago? did they have any idea it was a rubens? anyway, im just glad its back out there for us art lovers to appreciate now. 🎨

omg this rubens painting is insane! i mean 400 years hidden away and still holding its own. it's crazy to think about how much history is behind that one brushstroke 🤯🎨 the fact that the auctioneer took his time to verify its authenticity paid off big time. $2.7 million is a lot, but honestly who wouldn't want a piece of art with so much weight and significance?

🎨👀 I'm loving how this rare Rubens painting has resurfaced after being hidden for over 400 years! It's crazy to think about all the history it must hold. The fact that scientists were able to verify its authenticity through X-ray imaging and pigment examination is wild. I mean, who needs a crystal ball when you have science, right? 🤓

I'm also stoked to see how much the art world has changed since then. It's amazing how these paintings can fetch millions of dollars now. I guess that's what happens when people start appreciating art in all its forms and expressions.

But what really gets me is how this painting was initially believed to be part of a lesser-known workshop. Talk about being overlooked! It's like, who knows what other secrets art might hold? 🤔
