Loomer, who had previously referred to Mamdani as an "Islamic jihadist," expressed disgust at the sight of him standing behind Trump during Friday's news conference. She described it as "physically nauseating" and stated that she needed a drink to calm down after seeing "Islamic jihadists infiltrate our government."

However, not everyone shares this sentiment. Steve Bannon, former White House strategist and self-proclaimed Mamdani supporter, believes that Trump is using subtle politics to boost Mamdani's profile.
"He'll let him collapse because he's a Marxist jihadist," Bannon said in a podcast discussion with fellow activist Jack Posobiec.
Despite the mixed reactions from MAGA supporters, it appears that some of them are as disoriented by the news conference as they were by Trump's initial opposition to Mamdani. this is wild. trump inviting mamdani to the oval office and having him stand right behind him at the news conference? it's like he's throwing shade at all the people who doubted him. but seriously, what's going on here? steve bannon says trumps just wants to boost mamdani's profile by letting him mess up, but is that really how it goes down?

Come on, girl! It's not that hard to keep up. And Stefanik is all like "if he walks/joins talks campaigns like a jihadist...he's a jihadist" and I'm over here like "girl, what are you even saying?" 
It just goes to show how messy politics can be. One minute Trump's against Mamdani the next he's inviting him for tea
