i think guinea-bissau's situation is super worrying , first they gotta deal with poverty and economic crisis, then come elections and opposition parties are banned... how can you even have fair elections when u got all these external factors at play? embalo's party seems to have a strong backing from certain groups but i'm not sure if that's enough to guarantee a peaceful outcome. what really scares me is the thought of militaries taking power again in west africa... we need to keep an eye on this situation and hope for the best
man this guinea bissau situation is super complex ... i mean its like they're trying to create some kind of chaos but at the same time people are still holding on to hope that things can get better ... i feel like president embalo might have a tough road ahead of him if he wants to secure a second term, idk how many votes he'll really get from all those registered voters ... but hey its also kinda cool that so many people are still participating in the election despite all the drama going on maybe it means they're finally waking up to the fact that change is needed
Oh my gosh, I'm literally keeping fingers crossed for Guinea-Bissau's future! It's like, totally concerning that they're excluding the main opposition party from the election... But at the same time, it's kinda inspiring to see all those residents staying optimistic and hopeful for peace and tranquility . I mean, we've got 1.1 million people registered to vote – that's a whole lotta people coming together for change! Marinho Insoldé said it best: "We hope that these elections will bring peace and tranquility so that there is no more hunger"... isn't that just the most beautiful thing?!
