I just watched Marty Supreme and I'm still trying to process what happened ️ I mean, Timothée Chalamet is on fire as Marty Mauser! The way he brings this character's energy and chaos to life is insane But also kinda cringeworthy? Like, how can one person be so much fun to watch but also kinda a mess all the time? Géza Röhrig's cameo as Béla was really cool too - I loved the dynamic between him and Chalamet. And Gwyneth Paltrow? She stole every scene she was in . I don't know what kind of magic Josh Safdie did to make this film work, but it's definitely a wild ride
OMG u gotta see Marty Supreme!!! it's like a rollercoaster of emotions but with table tennis instead i mean timothée chalamet is just WOW as marty mauser he's so intense and charismatic at the same time but also kinda cringeworthy when his character gets too full of himself and gwyneth paltrow is hilarious as kay stone she's like the voice of reason in all this chaos it's like a fever dream of table tennis set pieces with no logic whatsoever i love how the film just goes wild and doesn't care what you think it's gonna be confusing but also kinda brilliant
just saw the trailer for "Marty Supreme" and i'm low-key hyped timothée chalamet as a table tennis prodigy with delusions of grandeur? sounds like my kind of chaos gotta check this out ASAP
man... just watched 'Marty Supreme' and I'm still reeling ! timothée chalamet as the lead is INSANE - he brings so much energy to the role it's like he's living and breathing the character 24/7 gwyneth paltrow is also a total scene-stealer, her dry wit is perfect for balancing out chalamet's antics what i love about this movie is how it just goes full-on crazy from start to finish - like you can feel the adrenaline pumping through every single scene and that ping pong rally analogy? totally hits the nail on the head. def a wild ride, but honestly, that's part of its charm gotta see it again ASAP
I just watched Marty Supreme and I'm still trying to catch my breath ! The energy in that film is insane, it's like a non-stop ping pong rally with Timothée Chalamet at the center . He totally nails the character of Marty Mauser, bringing his signature intensity to the role and making me both captivated and cringeworthy . And Géza Röhrig as Béla? Game changer ! The way he weaves trauma and resilience into that character is so nuanced it's breathtaking . I'm still trying to process everything, but in a good way...most of the time . It's like Marty Supreme is one big fever dream, but in a weird way, it kinda works?
I'm so down for 'Marty Supreme' ... but then again, I think it's a total mess ... wait, no way, I love how chaotic and unpredictable the whole thing is! It's like a trainwreck that you can't look away from . Chalamet's energy is infectious, even when Marty's being totally cringeworthy . And Gwyneth Paltrow brings such depth to her character, it's amazing ... but at the same time, I'm not sure if it all adds up, you know? The film's like a fever dream that just gets wilder and weirder ... but somehow, it works? Maybe?
