The question isn't whether you can afford the cars to get around in, it's whether you can afford not to. - Jay Leno
I'm not saying McLaren made a mistake, but they did have a "crash" course in Vegas... and it was their own car that crashed!
You can't control the wind, but you can adjust your sails. Maybe McLaren should've tweaked their game plan for the Vegas GP?
I'm shocked! McLaren knew about the issue but still didn't catch it early enough . The stats don't lie though - 0.12mm and 0.26mm are pretty minor, but it's still a big no-no . On average, F1 cars have around 10-15 mm of metal wear on the skids after a full season .
The graph showing the vertical oscillations is wild! I mean, who expects their car to be bouncing like that? The team's approach is still on track (pun intended) and I'm excited for Qatar . McLaren has been doing well this season, but consistency is key . Let's see how they recover from this .
I'm totally calling BS on McLaren's "concern" story ... I mean, come on, 0.12mm and 0.26mm over the limit? That's basically nothing! I'd be surprised if that was even a real concern for them. And let's be real, they're not exactly gonna admit to being outsmarted by their drivers . They're just gonna spin it as "an anomaly in the car's behavior" and hope nobody asks too many questions ... like Stella said there was "no reason" to change their approach before Qatar - sounds like they were already looking for an excuse to back down . Anyway, I'm still rooting for Norris & Piastri to take it out on their team this season !
Wow I mean... Interesting how McLaren was aware of the issue from the start and didn't adjust their strategy until after Norris & Piastri got DQ'd... feels like they might've been playing it a bit too safe?
I'm so bummed about what happened in Vegas . I mean, I know McLaren's been trying to shake things up and make it interesting between Norris and Piastri, but disqualifying both drivers? That's just crazy talk ! I remember when they had that one time with the Venturi F1 team and Lewis Hamilton was a young kid trying to take on Ferrari... things were wild back then . Anyway, I hope McLaren can get their act together and figure out what went wrong in Vegas. It's all good, though - at least it keeps the racing exciting!
omg u gotta be kiddin me mclaren just let 2 of there drivers get disqualified in vegas and now they're actin all innocent like it's no big deal that lando & oscar got robbed stella's all "anomaly in the car behavior" yeah right it's not like they were pushin' the limits or anythin'. and what's with the "no reason" to change their approach now? shouldn't they've figured it out by now? i'm so done with mclaren's lack of accountability
