I'm like totally stoked when I see big budget cuts

especially when it comes to something that's just not delivering the goods like the metaverse. It's like, you gotta be realistic and adapt to changing times, right? I mean, 30% slashing is huge, it's like a wake-up call for Meta.
Now, I'm all for innovation and pushing boundaries but if it's not working out then you've got to pivot

. The metaverse thing was supposed to be the next big thing but honestly, it just hasn't taken off like they hoped. And with those massive losses in Reality Labs... ouch!
It's interesting that Mark Zuckerberg isn't talking much about it anymore, maybe he's realizing that this whole metaverse thing is not as revolutionary as everyone thought

. I guess what I'm saying is, Meta needs to focus on areas where they can make a real impact and stop throwing good money after bad

.
Let's just say, I'll be keeping an eye on how they shake things up in the coming months

. Maybe we'll see some exciting new projects from their AI division or whatever
