Meta must rein in scammers — or face consequences

Meta's got some 'splainin' to do I mean, billions of dollars from scam ads is just crazy . They're prioritizing profits over people's safety and that's not cool . The fact that elderly folks and young job seekers are getting scammed out of their hard-earned cash is devastating . We need more transparency on how they're addressing this issue, too . I think it's time for Meta to get serious about removing those scam ads and taking responsibility for the harm they're causing

u no what's crazy about this tho ? meta's like profiting off scams lol? how much more cash would they make if they just removed these ads all together? it's not even like they're doing a good job at removing them anyway... 1/3 of scams in the US are on their platforms and that's still not enough. what's worse is that people, especially vulnerable ones, get scammed outta huge sums of cash . can't say i'm surprised tho, profits over users has been meta's motto all along
