, this is so frustrating! £2 billion? That's just crazy!

Who do these companies think they are? They're basically getting away with paying less taxes because they set up all these "non-bank entities" to exploit the loophole.

It's like they're playing a game of corporate tax dodging, and the taxpayer is always the one who gets screwed

I mean, I get that the original intention was to prevent similar companies from dodging taxes after the PPI scandal, but it seems like this loophole has just been opened up for more companies to take advantage of.

And now we're paying for it?

It's just not fair. The government needs to step in and close this loophole ASAP before it causes even more financial harm to the taxpayer.
And what really gets my goat is that these lenders are basically arguing that they're doing customers a favor by giving them compensation payments, when in reality, they're just trying to save on taxes.

It's all about lining their own pockets, not about fairness or customer service.
