MN audit finds weak oversight, fraud risk in Human Service grants

Ugh 🤯 this is a total nightmare! like can't these people even be bothered to follow the rules? nearly 1 mil was paid out before the grant was even finished lol what's wrong with some accountability? and staff training? come on that's like basic stuff. And 11 grantees getting paid for no reason? who are they even? sounds like a huge waste of money 🤑

It's like they say, you can't check for everything before handing out a bunch of cash 🤑... I mean, who doesn't want to help people in need? But, yeah, it looks like BHA kinda messed up with those grant funds. $426 million is a big chunk of change! It's good that Commissioner Gandhi is acknowledging the issues and promising to fix them though 🙏. But what's not being said here is how they plan to prevent this kind of thing from happening in the future. Are there more checks and balances in place? It seems like a lot of money was paid out without much oversight... maybe that's why some people are questioning if all those services were legit? 🤔

Ugh, this is just great 🤦‍♂️. So the Behavioral Health Administration's grant funds are basically being thrown out the window like they're worthless 💸. $426 million down the drain because they couldn't even be bothered to do their job right. I mean, who does that? 🙄 And now lawmakers are worried about potential fraud in other programs? Like, come on. This is just a big mess 🤯. Temporary Commissioner Gandhi wants to promise fixes but really, how many times can you keep making the same mistakes before someone's gotta step in and do something? 🚨
