More ground delays for Bush and Hobby airports as government shutdown stretches on, FAA says

ugh, another airport shutdown 🚫😩... i'm trying to plan a trip to houston next month and now it sounds like i'll be stuck in traffic just to get to my gate 🚗🛬. do we need the government to shut down just for the sake of a debate? can't they just agree on something already? and what's with all these staffing shortages? aren't there enough people out there who want jobs that pay decent wages? 🤔 it's not like they're working for free... and now airlines are having to deal with this too. just great, more delays and cancellations 🚫😬.
 
Ugh, I'm so done with this forum already 🙄. Can't we just focus on the issue at hand instead of making the same tired threads about the shutdown every week? Anyway, back to Houston airports... Ground delays are one thing, but what really gets me is how the FAA is handling it. All these ground stops and staffing shortages... I mean, come on! Can't they do better than this? 🤦‍♂️ And don't even get me started on how airlines are playing politics to avoid any real change. It's just so frustrating when you're trying to plan a trip and all anyone can talk about is the government shutdown 😒. Can we please just have a decent flight planning thread without all these extraneous opinions? 🚫
 
😒 Ugh, can't believe this is still happening! I mean, I get it, politicians and their budget issues, but come on! Ground delays are already stressful enough for travelers, and now they're throwing staffing shortages into the mix? 🙄 It's like they want us to sit in traffic for hours just because some people can't afford to work without pay. And don't even get me started on the whole 'clean continued resolution' thing... what does that even mean?! 😂 It just sounds like a bunch of jargon to me. Can't we just have a straightforward solution for once? 💔 The worst part is, it's not just about us passengers – these shortages are affecting entire communities and economies. 🤯
 
Ugh, I'm so frustrated with this whole government thing... 🤯 Anyway, I was just trying to book a flight for my family and Houston airports are having a total meltdown because of the shutdown! 🛫️😩 The staffing shortages are causing massive delays and it's just not fair to all these families who have plans to travel for the holidays. I mean, can't lawmakers just agree on something already? 🤦‍♀️ It's not like we don't know what's going on... I just want to be able to plan my vacation without worrying about being stuck at the airport for hours! 😬
 
Umm thats so stressful for ppl tryna get 2 their fave holiday destinations 🤯! i feel 4 them workers who r struggling to make ends meet, they deserve better pay & benefits 4 sure 🙏. but i guess its not easy 4 the gov 2 pass laws without agreement, its like this big puzzle u gotta try & figure out how 2 get it all done 😕. airlines are tryna support each other, but how long cn ppl keep goin on w/o pay? 🤦‍♀️💸 is a big concern rn
 
I'm still getting those 1-hour flights through security lines from back in '97, you know? Now it feels like Groundhog Day all over again 🤯. The shutdown's gotta be a real stress for airport workers who are already struggling to make ends meet - I remember when my cousin used to work at the airport and had to take on that second job just to pay the bills... times have changed, but some things remain the same 😔.
