Morrissey Cancels Another Show -- Leaving Just One Left on U.S. Tour

Morrissey Cancels Yet Another Show on US Tour, Leaving Only One Performance Left

In the latest string of cancellations, Morrissey has pulled out of nearly all his scheduled shows on the North American leg of his tour, leaving fans in a state of uncertainty. The artist had initially planned a seven-show stretch in September but has since scrapped almost every concert.

Despite making it to the stage in San Antonio and Oklahoma City, Morrissey bailed on performances in San Diego, St. Louis, Atlanta, and even the Dominican Republic. His only remaining show is scheduled for January 22 in Hollywood, Florida, with no explanation provided for the latest cancellations.

The situation is particularly frustrating for fans who had secured tickets to see him perform at the Show at Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage in California on January 3, which was postponed due to Morrissey's own adverse reaction to a prescription medication. Although a new date has not been set, fans can request a refund through February 2.

This latest development follows a spate of cancellations that have left many wondering what's behind the artist's erratic schedule. In the past few weeks alone, he had bailed on shows in St. Louis and Atlanta, citing "flu" as the reason for his absence in both cases โ€“ although, in reality, he was reportedly ill due to the freezing temperatures.

Fans are accustomed to Morrissey's communication style, which often takes the form of humorous and apologetic messages posted on his website. In a previous instance, when he cancelled a show in St. Louis, he wrote: "As predicted by your parents, I apologize deeply... but it IS -44 degrees outside, and EVERYONE is hacking themselves to death, and I am, regrettably, human." However, it appears that was an understatement this time around.

In related news, Morrissey has announced a new album titled "Make-Up Is A Lie," which will mark his first full-length LP in six years. The record is set for release on March 6, although fans are already starting to feel the pinch from the botched tour schedule.

ugh, morrissey's cancellation spree is getting out of hand ๐Ÿคฏ... i get it, he's a perfectionist and needs his time, but cancelling like 99% of his shows on this tour is crazy ๐Ÿ™„. fans are already feeling ripped off because they had tickets secured for those cancelled shows and now they're stuck waiting for a refund or hoping the new album comes out to make up for it ๐Ÿ’ธ. morrissey's communication style usually keeps us laughing, but this time he just seems kinda flaky ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ... anyway, at least we've got the new album to look forward to on march 6th ๐ŸŽถ!

Ugh, I'm getting so annoyed with Morrissey's constant cancellations ๐Ÿ™„. I mean, I get it, he's a perfectionist and all that jazz, but come on! Fans have been looking forward to these shows for months and now they're left wondering if they'll even be able to see him perform at all. It's just not fair ๐Ÿค•. And can't he just give us some real explanation instead of just saying "flu" or something like that? I'm sure we've all had bad colds before, but it's not like we're going to die from the freezing temperatures ๐Ÿ˜‚.

I swear, I was really looking forward to seeing him in San Diego too. Now I'm just hoping he'll make it to his last show and not bail on us again ๐Ÿคž. And what's up with this new album? "Make-Up Is A Lie"? Sounds like some pretty deep stuff to me ๐ŸŽถ. Hopefully the tour schedule will get back on track soon or else I might have to start listening to old Morrissey records instead ๐ŸŽง

The perpetual enigma that is Morrissey's touring schedule ๐Ÿคฏ. It's almost as if he's perpetuating a form of performance art, one that blurs the lines between musician and provocateur. The fact that he's leaving fans in limbo, sans explanation, is rather...amusing, don't you think? I mean, who needs stability when you can have the thrill of the unknown, right? ๐Ÿ˜ It's almost as if he's thumbing his nose at convention, embracing the chaos and unpredictability that surrounds him. The 'flu' excuse for his Atlanta show was just a clever ruse to mask the truth - those freezing temperatures had nothing on Morrissey's icy demeanor ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ. Anyway, it seems fans will have to content themselves with waiting anxiously for his forthcoming album, "Make-Up Is A Lie", set to drop in March...though, I suppose that's no consolation for those left disappointed by the cancelled shows ๐ŸŽต.

OMG u guys!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Morrissey's been having a super sketchy tour and now he's cancelled almost all his shows?! Like what's even going on with this guy? ๐Ÿค” I get it, flu season is no joke but 7 straight cancels?! The only one left is in Jan in FL so fingers crossed he makes it through! ๐Ÿ™ It's kinda funny that he always talks his way out of things like in the St Louis post... maybe this time will be different tho. ๐Ÿคž And omg new album "Make-Up Is A Lie" can't wait to hear it! ๐Ÿ’–

Ugh ๐Ÿค• this man's concert history is like a bad joke, canceling show after show without any warning... I'm so done with it! ๐Ÿ˜ฉ One minute you're all hyped for the show, next minute he's bailing on you... what even is going on? ๐Ÿค” And now fans are stuck waiting for a refund or dealing with a new date for that cancelled California show, no thanks! ๐Ÿ’ธ It's not like he was ever reliable to begin with. I mean, I love his music and all, but come on man, be honest with us about what's going on... 44 degrees outside? Really? ๐Ÿ˜‚

Wow ๐Ÿคฏ, can't believe this guy is pulling out all stops! One show left and he's just phoning it in ๐Ÿ˜’. Fans are so loyal but these last-minute cancellations are getting ridiculous . Maybe he's trying to make a big comeback or something? Either way, I'm not holding my breath for that new album ๐ŸŽต...
