Mount Airy is set to ring in Valentine's Day with a 21-plus twist on traditional prom. The Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (PSCA) is hosting an Adult Circus Prom on February 14th from 7:30-10 pm at its iconic Circus Campus, transforming the former church space into a vibrant dance floor.
Circa trapezes and aerial silks will set the stage for a night of high-flying performances by circus artists, all while guests mingle over live music spun by a local DJ. The event promises to ditch the traditional prom format's cliques, curfews, and judgment, instead embracing an inclusive atmosphere where everyone is welcome.
To add to the merriment, guests will be able to take part in printed keepsake photos, create their own origami corsages and boutonnieres, and indulge in a cash bar courtesy of Tired Hands Brewing Company, serving beer and soda throughout the evening.
Meanwhile, downstairs at the Circus Campus' lower gymnasium, kids aged 5 and above can enjoy circus games, activities, and a movie while parents socialize or head out for dinner nearby.
