According to Chester County District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe, a 21-year-old man named Zecqueous Morgan-Thompson has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a license and is currently being held on $25,000 bail. However, investigators remain unsure whether Thompson's gun was used in the actual shooting.
De Barrena-Sarobe indicated that authorities have a "strong belief" that multiple shooters were involved, but they do not believe this was a premeditated mass shooting. Instead, he believes the perpetrators acted on impulse, operating differently from what would be expected of a coordinated attack.
The shooting occurred during Lincoln's homecoming weekend at 9:30 p.m., leaving Jeffers dead and six others injured, all between the ages of 20 and 25. One of the victims is a current student, while another is an alumnus.

I'm actually kinda surprised they're holding one guy to $25k bail already, feels like a pretty standard move for a first-time shooter, no? And I don't think it's fair to jump all over the fact that there might've been multiple shooters - sometimes stuff just gets outta control and people act on impulse.

It seems like every time there's a shooting, we're still waiting for someone to get their act together and make change happen. Meanwhile, innocent people are losing their lives and families are being torn apart
