I just played Outer Worlds 2 with my friends
and I gotta say, it was a bummer... I mean, it's not bad by any means, but it's just so... predictable
. My son told me that the devs just phoned it in, which kinda breaks my heart
. But you know what? Our gaming session turned out to be way more fun than playing the actual game! We ended up having this epic convo about RPGs and storytelling
. It's crazy how games can bring us together like that, even if they're not perfect. And honestly, it makes me realize that sometimes it's not about the graphics or gameplay, but about the story and world-building behind them
. Anyway, I'm low-key excited to check out some of my old faves like Skyrim and Final Fantasy VII again... maybe they can inspire a new game that'll top Outer Worlds 2
