New Movies on Streaming: ‘One Battle After Another,’ ‘Roofman’ + More

Big Screen Hits Hit The VOD Circuit This Week, Including Paul Thomas Anderson's Latest and Jennifer Lopez's New Movie.

Paul Thomas Anderson's critically acclaimed new film 'One Battle After Another' has landed on various video-on-demand platforms. In the movie, Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Bob Ferguson, a former revolutionary who went into hiding to protect his young daughter from authorities tracking her down. Years later, his daughter is caught up in a wild chase across California's hilliest highway with her father.

Jennifer Lopez is also part of the VOD release slate this week with 'Kiss of the Spider Woman', a film based on the stage musical by Terrence McNally, John Kander, and Fred Ebb. In the movie, Luna stars as Valentin, who bonds with his cellmate Molina over his favorite Hollywood musical, starring Lopez's character Ingrid.

On the other side of town is Channing Tatum's latest film 'Roofman', a crime comedy based on true events about an escaped fugitive known for stealing from McDonald’s through the roof. Co-starring Kirsten Dunst and LaKeith Stanfield, this movie joins the digital fray as well.

New movies to check out include titles such as 'A Novel Noel,' 'My Sweet Austrian Holiday,' and several holiday films like 'Christmas Under The Lights.' You can also rent or buy a range of other releases including 'The Finnish Line', 'Rescuing Christmas', 'All I Want For Christmas Is You (2025)', and more.

📺 so i just checked out paul thomas anderson's new movie "one battle after another" and gotta say, leonardo dicaprio is on point as always! the whole premise of the film is pretty intriguing - a former revolutionary who goes into hiding to protect his daughter, only to have her get caught up in a wild chase with him. it's like a real-life action movie 🎥

and i'm also excited to see jennifer lopez in 'kiss of the spider woman' - she's always brought so much energy to her roles and this one looks like it's gonna be fun! 😄

but what really got me thinking is how these big screen hits are ending up on vod platforms. is that a sign of the times? do people just wanna stay home and watch movies instead of going to theaters? 🤔

I'm so stoked to see all these big screen hits hitting the VOD circuit this week 🎥👍! Paul Thomas Anderson's latest, One Battle After Another, looks like a real tear-jerker - I love Leonardo DiCaprio in just about anything he does 🤩. And can we talk about Jennifer Lopez for a second? She's been killing it in everything she touches, and this new movie sounds like a great addition to her filmography 💃.

But what really caught my eye is Channing Tatum's latest, Roofman - I mean who wouldn't want to watch a comedy about a fugitive stealing from McDonald's through the roof? 😂 And with Kirsten Dunst and LaKeith Stanfield in it too, I'm sold! Plus, all these holiday films are out now... I'm in the mood for some festive vibes 🎄🌟. Anyone else excited to dive into this VOD slate?

omg i just wanted to watch 'One Battle After Another' so bad and now that its on vod i'm totally binging it with my squad 🤩📺 paul thomas anderson is a genius, leonardo di caprio always brings the heat in his movies. and jlo's new movie looks lit too! 🍿 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' has that old school vibe i love it. gotta make sure to check out 'Roofman' with channing tatum tho, its a funny title 😂. holiday films are always a good idea during this time of year, can never go wrong with christmas under the lights 🎄🎅

I'm not buying it 🤔. A new Paul Thomas Anderson film without any hype or trailer? Come on, someone's gotta spill the beans about what makes this movie so special... or at least give us a sneak peek. And Jennifer Lopez's new movie? "Kiss of the Spider Woman"? That sounds like a total rip-off of the classic stage musical... did she work with the actual creators or just use it as a marketing gimmick? 🤑

🤩 just saw the new Paul Thomas Anderson movie dropped on VOD 🎥! Leonardo DiCaprio is looking so intense as the dad trying to protect his daughter from bad people 😱. And can't wait to watch Jen Lopez in 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' - she's always been great in music stuff 💃. Tatum's latest film looks hilarious too, who doesn't love a good comedy about an escaped fugitive 🤣? Got my holiday movies sorted for this week too, all I want some festive feels 😊!

omg u guys i just saw one battle after another with leonardo dicaprio 🤩 he's sooo good in this movie, paul thomas anderson is like a genius or something 🙌 i felt so bad for bob's daughter tho, her story is heartbreaking 😭 but anyway, jlo's new movie kiss of the spider woman looks kinda cool too 💁‍♀️ i love her singing, i wonder if she'll perform in it 🎶 channing tatum's roofman sounds hilarious though, can't wait to watch it with my friends 👫

Ugh, great, another bunch of new movies to add to the never-ending stream of streaming services 🤯... like we really need more stuff to watch on our screens when we're already drowning in a sea of endless content 🌊. I mean, Paul Thomas Anderson's new film is gonna be good and all, but let's be real, it's not like it'll fill the void left by last week's latest series finale or anything 😔... and Jennifer Lopez's movie? Meh, more rom-coms with pretty women 💁‍♀️. And Channing Tatum's crime comedy about an escaped McDonald's thief? Sounds like a recipe for disaster 🚨... anyway, I guess it's all just more stuff to contribute to the already overwhelming amount of digital noise 📺.

I'm telling ya, back in my day we didn't have all these fancy VOD platforms 📺... I mean, what's wrong with waiting for the DVD to come out, you know? But I guess that's just progress now. I did watch 'One Battle After Another' though, and man, Leo is still on top of his game 🤩. And JLo in 'Kiss of the Spider Woman'? She was a total firecracker back in her dancing days 💃... it's weird to see her like that, but hey, she can pull off anything! 'Roofman' sounds like a wild ride though 😂, I'm intrigued by the whole McDonald's heist thing. And holiday movies? Who am I kidding, we used to have to wait until December to watch 'A Christmas Story' or whatever 🎅... now it's just 12/25 and they're already out there 🤷‍♂️.

I don’t usually comment but… these big screen hits making it to VOD this week are so interesting 🤔. Paul Thomas Anderson's new film with Leonardo DiCaprio is like, whoa! The plot sounds kinda trippy 😎. I mean, a former revolutionary hiding from the law and then his daughter gets caught up in some crazy chase across California 🚗💨. And Jennifer Lopez's new movie 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' seems like a wild ride too 🎭. Luna starring as Valentin bonding with her cellmate over old Hollywood musicals is like, what a unique concept 🤷‍♀️.

I'm curious about Channing Tatum's film 'Roofman', though 😂. I mean, an escaped fugitive stealing from McDonald’s through the roof? That's just so ridiculous 💀! But hey, it sounds like it might be funny? 🤣 Either way, more holiday films to check out is always a good thing ❄️🎄

ugh, another week, more bad news 🤕: another Hollywood starlet retiring at 55 🎉... like Jennifer Lopez's new movie is the last one she'll ever do 🙅‍♀️.

and have you seen the trailer for 'Roofman'? 🤣 Channing Tatum trying to be funny as a fugitive who steals from McDonald's? sounds like another trainwreck waiting to happen 😂.

on a more serious note, 'One Battle After Another' is getting rave reviews, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see if it lives up to the hype 🤔. at least Leonardo DiCaprio is still relevant... kinda 👀

I'm sitting here pondering the idea that our modern obsession with blockbuster movies is just a distraction from the void within ourselves 🤔. We're constantly seeking validation through entertainment, aren't we? The fact that people are flocking to VOD platforms for these new releases makes me wonder if we're more invested in escapism than actual connection with one another.

Take Paul Thomas Anderson's latest film 'One Battle After Another' – it's got all the buzz of a big-screen hit, but what does it really say about us? Are we seeking redemption or just a fleeting sense of excitement? And what about Jennifer Lopez's 'Kiss of the Spider Woman'? Is this just another Hollywood spectacle designed to distract us from our own inner struggles?

I guess what I'm trying to say is that in our pursuit of entertainment, have we forgotten how to truly engage with each other and ourselves? 🎥💭

omg, i'm so excited for these new movies on VOD 🎥👍 paul thomas anderson's latest is always a must-watch, leo di caprio is just amazing in anything he does! 🤩 and jlo in kiss of the spider woman sounds like a great addition to her filmography, she can sing/speak so beautifully! 💖 i've also been hearing good things about channing tatum's roofman, comedies are always my jam 😂. but honestly, what really gets me pumped is all these holiday films coming out, 'all i want for christmas is you (2025)'? yes please, let the festive vibes begin 🎄🎅

omg u gotta watch 'One Battle After Another'!!! leo di caprio is soooo good in it 😍 i love how his character goes from rebel to protector ❤️ can't wait to see j lo shine in 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' 💃🏻 her dance scenes are gonna be EPIC 💥 and channing tatum's 'Roofman' has me dying laughing 😂 that fugitive is such a genius 🤣 what about u guys, which one are u watching first? 🎬

I'm so over this VOD thing... it's just not the same as going to the cinema with friends, you know? 🍿👫 Back in the day, we'd wait all week for a new movie to come out on DVD, or even rent one from the video store (RIP Blockbuster) and have a whole weekend of movie nights. Now it's just so easy to watch whatever I want whenever I want... where's the excitement in that? 🤔 And don't even get me started on the prices... I mean, I love JLo as much as the next person, but 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' is like $5 a pop? 💸 Give me a break! At least with the old VHS tapes, we had to fast forward through the commercials... this digital stuff just makes everything so convenient, but also kinda boring 📺
