What's next, delaying food stamps or something? It's not like these programs are optional. People need them to survive. And Gov Hochul is right on point, Congress should be ashamed of themselves. This isn't politics, it's people's lives at stake.

The gov is all like "we won't let lawmakers turn our backs on NYers in need" but meanwhile, ppl are having to make impossible choices because of this delay. It's just so frustrating
