NJ Transit, Amtrak delays continue into and out of NY Penn Station due to downed wires

ugh I feel so bad for those commuters! they're already dealing with freezing temps and now they gotta deal with these delays? it's like, can't we just have one smooth morning for once? anyway, I'm all about being grateful for the small things, like having a reliable way to get around. but seriously, this is a total bummer for anyone who relies on public transportation. maybe they should look into upgrading that rail infrastructure ASAP? just saying

Ugh, this is just so frustrating ! I mean, can't we get a reliable public transportation system around here? It's like, I get it, old wires can be a problem, but can't they at least give us an estimate of when things will be fixed? And 300 people stranded on the Raritan Valley Line... that's just crazy . I feel for all you commuters who are already dealing with freezing temps and now this.

And don't even get me started on the lack of communication from NJ Transit - just "some impacts" into the afternoon and evening? How about some real updates, dude? . At least Governor Sherrill is speaking up, but it's not like they can fix everything overnight (no pun intended, given the weather).

I'm all for infrastructure upgrades, especially with the Gateway Tunnel project, but can't we just have a functional system right now? It's like, I know progress is slow, but come on... .
