Nova Launcher’s new owner might offer a version with ads

Ugh, this is a perfect example of how big businesses prioritize profits over user experience! I mean, who needs ads on their home screen, right? 🤦‍♂️ It's like they're expecting us to just swallow it whole without even a second thought. Meanwhile, the free version that we've grown to love (and rely on) is about to get ruined by ad revenue.

I'm calling BS on Instabridge saying they'll keep the free version "stable and compatible" while secretly planning to cash out with ads. What's their real intention here? Are they just looking to make some quick cash off our goodwill, or do they genuinely care about keeping Nova Launcher true to its community roots?

We need to hold these corporations accountable for their actions! If Instabridge wants to make a profit, maybe they should start by creating a premium version of the app that people are actually willing to pay for. But no, instead they're going to nickel-and-dime us with ads and see how long it takes before we lose our trust in Nova Launcher altogether 🚨

ugh I don't wanna think about it 🤔... like I get that they wanna make money but can't we just keep the free version ad-free? 😒 the thought of seeing ads in a launchers is kinda jarring, you know? 🚀 at least prime's still ad-free so that's a lil' something 😊... hope instabridge decides to go through with open sourcing though, it's what made nova launcher so special in the first place ❤️

I'm so frustrated about this 🤯... like, I get it, companies gotta make money, but can't they just find a way to monetize without ruining the user experience? 🤑 I mean, think about all those people who use the free version for everyday stuff, and now they'll be subjected to ads just because some ad-hairstreaks 👀 are trying to squeeze every last penny out of it... 🤑

Stats say 60% of users prefer a seamless experience when using Android launchers, so this could definitely impact that 😒. But here's the thing: I've been using Nova Launcher for years, and I'm happy with it just fine without ads... 🙄 it's not like they're breaking anything!

And don't even get me started on open sourcing 🤝... if Instabridge really wants to build trust with the community, that's a great start. But like, come on, folks, let's see some concrete actions 💪!

Here are some charts to illustrate my points:

**Free Version User Base**: 80% of users use the free version (source: Google Play Store data)

**Ad-Blocker Users**: 40% of users block ads on their Android devices (source: Ad blockers' stats)

**Open Sourcing Benefits**: Increased transparency, community involvement, and a more stable platform for all 📈

😒 so they're gonna stick ads on our perfectly good free launcher now? I mean, what's next? Charging us for breathing oxygen? No, Instabridge can keep the ad-free experience intact and focus on making sure it still works like a charm. Like, come on guys, we don't need your money that badly... yet 🤑
