NY advocates eye a chance to limit police cooperation with ICE statewide

I think the current push for immigration reform in New York is way too soft . I mean, 65% of people saying that deploying federal immigration officials went too far? That's pretty weak considering how serious this issue is. We should be doing everything we can to help ICE round up undocumented immigrants and get them out of our country ASAP. Those sanctuary laws are just creating a haven for crime and terrorism . And Governor Hochul's concerns about public safety? Come on, she's just trying to appease the liberal crowd. If we're going to make New York safe again, we need to be willing to take a stand and push for real reform .

the problem with these protests is that they're already having a huge impact on ppl's lives, i'm so tired of hearing people say 'we gotta do something' without thinking about how it'll actually affect the people involved anyway, i think we should be focusing on finding ways to address the root causes of immigration issues instead of just trying to block enforcement

the way things are going, us just seeing more & more people being hurt by these ICE actions 65% of ppl agree that enforcing federal immigration laws is gone too far lol what's next gonna be 100%? and the fact that gov Hochul is all over the place like "public safety" but also "cooperating with ice"... meanwhile, we got real people lives being ruined by these policies need change ASAP
