this is a really interesting move by Letitia James... it makes me wonder about the blurred lines between law enforcement and accountability, you know? like how far can we go before we start questioning whether those in power are doing what's best for everyone?
i mean, think about it - we're deploying trained observers to monitor these immigration enforcement activities. that's like putting a fly on the wall, right? but who's really watching them while they're watching? and what happens when the observer finds something they don't like? do they just report it or try to take action themselves?
i'm also curious about the purple vests - is there something symbolic about wearing those particular colors? maybe a nod to transparency or visibility? and what does it say about our society that we need to wear special vests to highlight questionable actions?
anyway, this whole thing has got me thinking...
