One dead, four injured in DuSable Lake Shore Drive crash

ugh this is so crazy like what if that car had gone a few blocks farther down duSable lake shore drive who knows what would've happened it's just devastating to hear about the girl who died, my heart goes out to her family and friends four people injured is still pretty serious though, hope they're all doing okay now i'm not saying anything bad about chicago or the police but seriously folks, can't we please drive a little safer at night? like, it's 2:20 am in the morning, shouldn't that driver be super careful anyway, glad nobody else was seriously hurt, just think about what could've been

OMG, I'm still trying to process what happened on DuSable Lake Shore Drive! It's just heartbreaking to think about the poor person who lost their life in such a tragic accident . Four people were involved and it could've been so much worse if they weren't lucky enough to be taken to the hospital alive .

I mean, can you even imagine losing control of your car at 2:20 am? It's just crazy! The fact that there was a pole nearby is what saved one of the passengers (thankfully) but it's still so devastating for those who weren't so lucky . I hope the person who died is resting in peace and their loved ones are getting the support they need .

It's always good to hear that three others are doing okay, though! Fingers crossed they make a full recovery . And yay for the CTA's quick response to reroute buses around the accident site – safety first, for sure ! Let's all hope there aren't more accidents on this stretch of road soon .
