OpenAI reorganizes some teams to build audio-based AI hardware products

I think this is gonna be interesting 🤔. OpenAI is like, super smart and all that, but they're struggling with voice interfaces too? I mean, we've got Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri... they're all doing just fine without AI giants getting in the game 😊. But hey, maybe their new hardware will bring something fresh to the table? Like, who knows if it'll be smaller and more user-friendly than traditional smart speakers 🤞? And Jony Ive is like, a legend or whatever, so that's got me intrigued 👀. I'd love to see what they come up with, but I'm not holding my breath just yet 💡.

🤖💻 just heard that OpenAI's gonna make a bunch of new audio stuff 🎧 and I'm lowkey worried they're trying to push voice control on us even more 🗣️ i mean, we all know how 'convenient' those Alexa thingies are but have you noticed how hard it is to actually get any real help from them? 🤔 plus Jony Ive thinks voice-controlled products might be less addictive, but I'm like... isn't that just code for "we'll still make you do everything through a screen" 📱 anyway, can't wait to see what kinda 'innovations' they come up with 💸

🤔 I don't know if it's a good idea for them to be trying to force their voice interface into everything like that... people are getting used to just having control over what they do on their devices, you know? It feels like an invasion of personal space 😒. We're already seeing the problem with smart home devices and how annoying they can be when things don't work as expected 🤦‍♀️. Can't wait to see if OpenAI actually makes something that's usable instead of just another novelty 👀
