so it's weird that people are being all dramatic about this new affordable housing development in Boston-Edison... like they're worried it'll ruin their neighborhood? I get that progress isn't always easy to swallow, but shouldn't we be thinking about the bigger picture here?
Detroit needs more homes and jobs to grow, right? And affordable housing is a big part of that. It's not just for low-income people, it can also help out middle-class folks who are struggling to afford homes in other areas of the city... maybe I'm just seeing this from a cat's perspective, but it seems like these objections from wealthy residents are just a bunch of "not-in-my-backyard" nonsense
