Fulham are reportedly closing in on the signing of Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb, with sources suggesting that Marco Silva's side are close to reaching an agreement for the 22-year-old. This development comes as Bobb has fallen down the pecking order at City following the January arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth.

Bobb, who has also had interest from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, has featured only 15 times for City this season without scoring, with his last appearance being in a Carabao Cup match against Brentford on December 17. His recent form and the increasing competition for places at the Etihad have led many to speculate about Bobb's future.

According to Pep Guardiola, who was asked about Bobb's desire to leave City during the manager's press conference after Saturday's win over Wolves, "I think so". However, it is unclear whether this statement indicates that Bobb wants to depart or if the manager was simply speculating on the winger's feelings towards his current club.

Fulham, meanwhile, have been enjoying a resurgence under Silva, who has led the Cottagers to six wins in their last seven Premier League games. With Bobb potentially joining the squad, they would unite him with compatriot Sander Berge at Craven Cottage and bolster their attacking options.

While Fulham's interest in Bobb was first reported earlier this week, it appears that talks are now on the verge of reaching a conclusion. However, City's stance on the matter remains unclear, and it is likely that the club will continue to resist any attempts to sell one of their most promising young players.

In related news, Fulham have also made a £28m bid for PSV Eindhoven forward Ricardo Pepi, adding further depth to Silva's squad.

Interesting 💡, I think Fulham are making a smart move by targeting Oscar Bobb. He's still young and has potential, but it seems like he's fallen out of favor at City 🤔. Marco Silva's team is doing well right now, so they could definitely use someone with Bobb's skillset. I mean think about it Oscar Bobb has only played 15 times this season lol what happened to him? I'm not saying he's rubbish but City are loaded with talent right now and he just can't get in the team. Fulham is a great move for him, they need some fresh legs on the pitch and he'd fit right in. Sander Berge would be like a brother to him!

🤔 I think this could be a great move for Oscar Bobb, but City should try to keep him if possible... he's been with the club for a while and has shown some decent skills 🏃‍♂️. But at the same time, Fulham is offering him a chance to play more regularly which could help him develop his game 💪. I'm also curious about Sander Berge, has that partnership ever worked out before? 👀
 
I think Fulham are getting a bit lucky on this one 🤔. I mean, Oscar Bobb is a talented player and all, but he's still only 22! Does Marco Silva really think he can turn him around into the star player they need? It feels like Fulham are trying to fix things with band-aids instead of investing in their own youth academy.

And what about City's stance on this? I just don't see them wanting to let go of a promising young winger. Pep Guardiola seems pretty down-to-earth, but even he didn't give any clear answers 🤷‍♂️. This whole situation is a bit suspicious...
 
idk why fulham would bother trying to sign some guy who hasn't even played half the games he's been with city 🤷‍♂️ oscar bobb's form is basically non existent and they're just going to get a bunch of hype from fans thinking he's gonna be the next player to save them 🙄

meanwhile, fulham is making a solid move by going after pepi, that guy actually has some real talent 🤞 hopefully they can get him on a decent contract or whatever since they're clearly not trying to break the bank 💸
 
I think Fulham are taking a good risk by going after Oscar Bobb 🤔. He's definitely got potential and it would be awesome to see him bring some excitement to the team. I'm also loving Marco Silva's transfer strategy so far - they've been signing players who can make a real impact on the pitch 🏆. Of course, Manchester City aren't going to let Bobb go easily, but if Fulham can get a good deal done, it could be a major coup for them 😊. And that Ricardo Pepi bid is super interesting too... think fulham are really trying hard to be champions this season 🤔 they're bringing in some decent talent with bobb and pepi which could give them the edge they need to push man united at the top 💪 meanwhile bobb seems like he's lost his place in city since semenyo arrived it's like he's been stuck on the bench for ages 😐 i'm not sure if fulham are paying too much for him tho £28m is a pretty penny 💸 still can't wait to see how it all unfolds 📺

🤔 I'm really not sure why City is being so stubborn about selling Bobb. The guy has been pretty underutilized lately and his form hasn't exactly been lighting up the pitch 🚫. I think it's time for Pep to give him a chance to prove himself as a starter, but if that doesn't work out... 🤷‍♂️ then he'd be better off elsewhere. Fulham seems like a good fit for him, they need some quality on their wings and Bobb would definitely help bring that 💪. And £28m is a pretty decent offer for Pepi too! 💸

omg can u believe fulham r on the verge of signing oscar bobb?? 🤯 like, i get it, he's had a rough season at man city and pep guardiola was all like "he wants to leave" 😏 but still, fulham's gotta be careful here... they've got some talented players already and adding another player just for the sake of it might not do them any favors.

i mean, bobb's got potential, no doubt about that... but he needs to prove himself and show what he can do on a bigger stage. and let's be real, fulham's been doing pretty well this season so they shouldn't be rushing into anything just yet. maybe it'll all work out, maybe not... but for now, i'm gonna keep an eye on this one 🤔
 
idk why fulham would wanna go for oscar bobb tho 🤔 he's had some decent games but his form is pretty meh atm and he can't even get a spot in the squad at man city... plus they just bought antoine semenyo in jan so that's like, a new threat for bobb to deal with 😬 i'd rather see fulham go after some other winger who's actually shown they can do it 🎯
