Pam Bondi announces departure of Lindsey Halligan from DOJ

idk about this separation-of-powers thing, seems like a big deal but also kinda like a normal thing that happens sometimes 🤷‍♂️. i mean, pam bondi's blaming democrats for this whole mess but what if she's just trying to cover her own backside? and halligan's all salty about the federal judge saying her appointment is unlawful... but shouldn't she've thought of that before taking the job? 🤔 and honestly, don't we need more ppl like halligan who aren't afraid to speak their minds? but at the same time, do we really want a us attorney with no prosecutorial experience making life-or-death decisions? 🤷‍♂️ i'm just so confused 🙃.

😒 This separation-of-powers thing is getting outta hand 🤯... like, what's next? Do we start having US senators deciding who gets appointed to the Supreme Court? 🤷‍♂️ The whole blue slip process thing is already kinda shady, but now it sounds like some politicians are just using it as a tool to exert their power over the DOJ. And Lindsey Halligan was basically thrown under the bus by her own boss 🚫... it's like, one thing is fine if you're trying to hold someone accountable for misconduct, but this is a whole different story when it comes to legitimate appointments and the rule of law 💼. It's also kinda fishy that they're trying to block Halligan from representing herself as US attorney in court – what are they really afraid of? 🤔

🤔"The ultimate test of a man's character is how he treats those at the pinnacle of his success." - Ron Knight, seems like US Attorney General Pam Bondi should have thought about this when she went after Lindsey Halligan 🙄. This whole thing just shows that the separation-of-powers can be a real challenge to navigate, especially with all these partisan tensions going on...
