Paramount won't quit, files suit against Warner Bros. Discovery over rejected bid

I think Warner Bros. Discovery should just accept Netflix's offer and be done with it. I mean, why bother with all this drama? The lawsuit is just going to make things more complicated and prolong the whole process. And let's be real, Paramount's debt is a major red flag - it's like they're trying to put on a brave face while secretly wanting to sell themselves out.

I'm also not buying into the idea that Discovery Global has some kind of inherent value that's going to make or break this deal. It's just cable networks and content - what's so special about that? And as for Paramount's slate of directors, it's not like they're going to magically change everything. They'll just be a bunch of new faces trying to make the same decisions.

I think the whole proxy fight thing is a big overreaction too. It's just shareholders and corporate lawyers making a mess - can't we all just get along? 🤷‍♂️

🤔 so i think paramount is trying to negotiate from a super strong position but honestly its hard to see them succeeding... their offer was already seen as lacking value by many analysts 🤑 and now they're risking a proxy fight which is a total gamble 💥 meanwhile warner bros discovery hasnt shown any signs of weakness in their negotiations with netflix 🤝 either way i think we'll have to wait and see how this all plays out... its gonna be a wild ride 🚀

omg u guys can u believe paramount is fighting this hard over warner bros discovery 🤯 they're literally going to court over it lol but seriously tho i feel like paramount's got some legit points about discovery global not being valued properly idk how much debt they'd take on tho and i guess wbd's trying to avoid giving out too much info which makes sense but ugh this proxy fight is getting crazy 🤪 what do u think would happen if paramount wins tho? 🤑
