Ugh I'm so over all these winter weather updates . Can't we just have a warm and sunny day for once? Anyway, I guess it's good that they're trying to get the streets cleaned up ASAP. 800+ vehicles deployed? That's like, a lot of snow-meltin' machines! And I feel bad for all the people stuck in their houses on Tuesday, but at least they can stay warm indoors . Still, icing on existing snow is gonna make cleanup super hard... literally . Hope everyone stays safe out there!
I'm telling you, this whole thing is fishy . First, they're saying it's safe for people to go back out on the roads, but then they're warning us about the cold snap? It's like they're trying to keep us in the dark . And what's up with all these vehicles and equipment being deployed? Sounds like a massive operation to me . And have you seen the footage of the streets? They're still pretty icy, right? So, why are people telling us it's safe to travel? Something doesn't add up...
ugh, i hate it when city officials say "we're about to hit a deep freeze" like, duh, its gonna be cold! cant they just stick to something more reassuring? like "everything will get done in no time"? anyway, 21 degrees and then 7? that's crazy talk gotta feel for the city crews trying to deal with this combo of snow & ice on top of it. hope they get those residential streets cleared out soon so people can get back to their daily lives
I'm glad the snow emergency is over, but I'm worried about the cleanup efforts now... it's like trying to clean up after a big party only for everyone to leave and expect someone else to deal with the mess . The cold temps are gonna make things so much harder! 800+ vehicles and equipment out there, that's still a lot of work, and they're expecting people to just stay off the roads... yeah right, like we didn't do that already . I mean, I know the city did a good job melting 900 tons of snow, but 21 degrees is not exactly balmy weather. My grandma used to have to shovel her driveway every time it snowed back in the '60s... now they've got all this fancy equipment and it's still a pain.
