Pierre Huyghe: Liminals review – terrifying quantum visions in a notorious Berlin club take seeing beyond believing

You know what struck me about this whole experience? It's how the filmmaker Pierre Huyghe is blurring those lines between reality and art. It's like, what even is that line anymore? We're living in a world where social media can make us feel like we're connected to others, but really we're just staring at screens. And then we go into this dark power station and it feels like the whole world has come alive. It's like our perceptions are being rewired.

It got me thinking about how we navigate these new realities. We're constantly trying to make sense of things, but sometimes that makes us miss out on the beauty in the unknown. The film is saying that maybe we don't have all the answers, and that's okay. Maybe it's time for us to stop trying to control everything and just let life unfold as it does.

Anyway, if you're up for an experience that'll shake things up, go check out Liminals at Halle am Berghain 🌌

man this pierre huyghe film is wild 🤯 i mean u can literally feel the decay and neglect of that power station where it was screened and at the same time ur watching this super intimate and vulnerable person on screen who's both human and not human its like...what even is reality anymore? 💭 and i love how he uses glitches and anomalies to blur the lines between past and present, things and images, insides and outsides its like his whole movie is one big experiment in perception 🎥
