This whole refereeing corruption scandal is super messed up

I mean, I get it, Turkish football has been struggling with this issue for ages, but to see 371 out of 571 referees having betting accounts? That's wild

And the fact that some of them were actively gambling on matches?

It's like, how can you trust anyone making decisions about your favorite team when they're secretly taking bets on those same games?
The TFF is trying to do the right thing by purging their sport of corruption and all that

but it's gonna take more than just suspending some refs and introducing new tech to fix this problem

. We need real change, not just a Band-Aid solution

.
And what about the players who got caught up in all this?

I feel bad for them, they didn't ask to be involved in a corrupt system

. But at the same time, some of them did know better and chose to gamble anyway

. That's not okay.
I hope the TFF can get their act together and make Turkish football a place where fans can actually trust the officials

. Until then, it's just gonna be a whole lot of skepticism

.
