just saw this lol, so yeah, Sborz is like a legend now . i'm not surprised they re-signed him tho, he was kinda irreplaceable last season. but dude's injury history is still pretty sketchy... hope he can stay healthy this time around . and 0.75 ERA in the playoffs? that's wild!
so they just non-tendered him like he was nothing and now he's back because who else can you trust with a high-leverage situation? and yeah, his 0.75 ERA in the playoffs is wild, but that's what happens when you're a one-trick pony . I mean, anyone can shut it down for an inning or two, but can he keep going?
I'm hyped they signed Josh Sborz back but I gotta wonder if it's gonna be a one-trick pony situation . His postseason heroics were insane, no doubt about it , but he struggled mightily with injuries and rehab. Can he really stay healthy enough to make an impact in the regular season? And what about that 5.25 ERA in Triple-A? Not exactly reassuring . Still, I guess you can never count out a guy who had one of the best postseason ERAs ever . The Rangers are trying to recapture last year's magic and Sborz is definitely an interesting wildcard to have in their bullpen . Wish him all the luck and hope he can stay on the mend !
I'm not surprised the Rangers are trying to bring Sborz back, but it's weird they're doing it in a minor league deal . Doesn't that just mean he's going to be stuck in the minors while other guys get to play in the show? And what about his rehab numbers from last year... still a bit sketchy for me . Plus, we don't even know how much of a role they're thinking he'll have this season . Still love him as a player, but I'm not convinced this is the best move
omg I just watched this game with my friends over the weekend and we were all talking about Josh Sborz like he was some kind of hero lol, I dont really get why teams re-sign guys who didnt do so great during the season tho? is it because they're trying to save money or something? and what's up with this minor league deal tho? does that even mean anything now a days?
OMG, I'm so hyped about this move by the Texas Rangers ! Sborz was like a superhero on the mound last postseason, saving the day time and time again . It's crazy that they went from non-tending him to bringing him back just 2 months later. The kid's got talent for sure, and if he can stay healthy, he could be a game-changer off the bullpen .
I mean, who doesn't love an underdog story? Sborz struggled in rehab but still managed to come out of nowhere and save the day last postseason . It's like he had a second lease on life, and I'm rooting for him all the way . Can you imagine having that kind of magic in the bullpen? The Rangers are making a smart move here, and I'm excited to see what the season holds .
