Removing US as World Cup host would be eminently sad – and entirely justified | Alexander Abnos

OMG u guys FIFA needs 2 rethink hosting the 2026 WC in the US like seriously its getting worse n worse every day 🤯 public safety is a major concern rn & those federal agents killing innocent ppl is just insane 😱 what was gonna happen if there were thousands of foreign fans comin thru? USA's got a track record of division & violence how can FIFA expect 2 deliver unity messages w/ that kinda atmosphere 🤷‍♂️ u think its worth the risk? idk bout me but i'd say lets just forget about it n find a new host 🚫

I gotta say, hosting the 2026 World Cup in the US is looking super dodgy right now 🤔. I mean, they've had some major issues with public safety already, what with those two innocent people getting killed in Minneapolis 🚔. And let's not forget all the drama with immigration - it's like, how can you expect thousands of fans to be safe when the government is basically clamping down on anyone who doesn't conform? 💪

And I get that soccer's trying to become more popular and all, but at what cost? Like, are they willing to risk thousands of lives just to make a good PR stunt out of it? 🤑 It just seems like the whole thing is gonna end in disaster if you ask me. Maybe FIFA should think twice about letting the US host... or better yet, let's just have a boycott and show 'em what's up! 👊

I'm really worried about hosting the 2026 World Cup in the US 🤕. I mean, I've always loved American sports, but this just feels like a recipe for disaster 😬. All these recent incidents with police brutality and government issues... it's hard to ignore that stuff when you're planning an event that's supposed to bring people together 👫. And let's be real, the ticket prices are already super steep 🤑 - I'm not sure how much of a "game-changer" this is really going to be for soccer fans in the US. Maybe it's just time to rethink our priorities and think about what kind of message we're trying to send with an event like this 🤔.

🤔 I don't think it's fair to write off hosting the World Cup just yet 🙅‍♂️. Sure, there are some concerns about public safety and immigration, but we can work with those issues and make it happen 🎉. We've had major events like the Olympics and music festivals in big cities without any major incidents 🌆. It's all about planning and preparation 💡. And let's be real, soccer is a sport that brings people together ❤️, so even if things get tough, we can still use it as an opportunity to promote unity and understanding 🌈. We might need to invest in some extra security measures, but I think the benefits of hosting the World Cup far outweigh the risks 💥. Let's not give up on this just yet 😉.
