US Representative Thomas Massie Has Remarried About 16 Months After Announcing His First Wife's Passing.
Rep. Thomas Massie, a Republican from Kentucky, has tied the knot with Carolyn Grace Moffa, his new bride who has never been married before. The conservative lawmaker posted about his second marriage on X, revealing that he wedded Moffa in a Christian ceremony in Pennsylvania last weekend.
Massie described Moffa as someone he's known for over a decade and said she met his late first wife on their Kentucky farm. Massie expressed his fondness for the new bride stating "Carolyn has not previously been married," adding that he, who was married to Rhonda for 31 years before her passing in June 2024, would share a home with Moffa at their rural farm when they are not in Washington D.C.
Massie's announcement comes roughly 16 months after announcing the death of "the love of my life" - his first wife. Critics called Massie's second marriage timing 'weird' while some users wished him and Moffa well on social media platforms.
The wedding festivities were attended by prominent Republican lawmakers including Rand Paul, Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia, Jim Jordan of Ohio and friends and family alike.
