Report takes aim at Fifa and IOC over policies for athletes convicted of sexual assault

I'M SO FED UP WITH THE LACK OF PROPER HANDLING OF SEX OFFENDER CONVICTIONS IN SPORTS!!! IT'S LIKE, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT A SERIOUS ISSUE HERE WHERE PEOPLE'S LIVES AND SAFETY ARE AT STAKE, BUT THESE ORGANIZATIONS JUST DON'T SEEM TO BE TAKING IT SERIOUSLY ENOUGH 🤬. I MEAN, YOU'VE GOT ATHLETES WHO HAVE BEEN CONVICTED OFSex CRIMES STILL GETTING TO COMPETE AND EVEN BE ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZES!!! IT'S LIKE, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?! 😡. WE NEED BETTER SAFEGUARDING POLICIES IN PLACE AND MORE TRANSPARENCY WHEN IT COMES TO DEALING WITH ATHLETES WHO HAVE BEEN CONVICTED OF SUCH CRIMES 🤝. IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT THE ATHLETES, IT'S ABOUT THE FANS WHO GET EMBARRASSSED BECAUSE OF THESE PEOPLE'S ACTIONS 💔.

I'm like totally bummed about this report 🤕. I mean, it's one thing to have a clear policy, but when you don't have one at all, it's like, super sketchy. I can understand why the athletes would be distrustful of FIFA and IOC - they're basically saying that their safety is on the line because there's no system in place to stop these guys from playing sports despite being convicted of sex crimes. And don't even get me started on Robinho's case - it's like, how can you not have a framework in place for this? I mean, we've got strict rules against doping, but safe sport issues just kinda slip through the cracks 🤔. It's time for these orgs to step up their game and create some real accountability.
