OMG u guys
i'm like so worried about this new flu strain
its like the worst thing since last year's COVID outbreak
i mean i know we cant just rely on vaccines alone lol but what else can we do?
my friend's cousin got the flu last week and she was literally in hospital for days
i dont want that to happen again
i also dont understand why they're saying its too late to act now
cant they just boost those stockpiles and get more people vaccinated already?
it's like we're being super paranoid about this new strain
but at the same time i'm like totally glad that there are experts sounding the alarm
i've been talking to my friends in the UK and Japan and they're also getting hit hard by this flu season
i just wish we could get more funding for public health initiatives
it would make such a difference if we had better resources to deal with outbreaks like this
