Roger Penske’s 60th Anniversary Season Begins With Rolex 24 At Daytona Win

Roger Penske Celebrates Historic 60th Anniversary Season with Rolex 24 at Daytona Win

In a thrilling finish to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Porsche Team Penske secured its third-straight victory in the iconic Rolex 24 at Daytona. The win marked a significant milestone for Team Penske as it celebrated the start of its 60th anniversary season.

The victory was not only a testament to the team's dedication and perseverance but also a tribute to its partnership with Porsche Motorsport, which is marking its 75th anniversary in racing. Speaking in Victory Lane, Roger Penske expressed his pride in the achievement, citing the crucial role that teamwork, focused drivers, and a resilient crew played in their success.

Felipe Nasr, Julien Andlauer, and Laurin Henrich took to the podium with team to celebrate Porsche 963's win, while Kevin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor, and Matt Campbell drove valiantly for the No. 6 entry.

Team Penske's dominance was built on solid ground, as they secured two Porsche 963 entries in the event. Nasr's standout performance behind the wheel during the final stint sealed the deal, with his fellow drivers, including Earl Bamber, Frederik Vesti, and NASCAR star Connor Zilisch, contributing to the team's overall success.

The No. 31 Whelen Cadillac, which had started from the back of the field after failing post-qualification technical inspection, made a dramatic comeback, but ultimately fell short in their bid for victory.

Roger Penske, who donned a blue suit during his initial meeting with Tim Cindric at Team Penske's shop, recalled how he immediately knew the driver was special. "The driving he has done for us, and at the end there, was one of the best drives I've seen," Penske said.

With this historic win, Roger Penske marked the beginning of a remarkable 60th anniversary season for Team Penske. The team's sights are set on numerous high-profile events throughout 2026, including the NASCAR Cup Series team at the Daytona 500 and the NTT IndyCar Series team at the Indianapolis 500.

As the World's most successful racing team, Roger Penske is already focusing his attention on the next challenge, with the 60th anniversary celebrations set to continue into the new year.

Felipe Nasr's last-lap drive was pure magic 🎩 and it's awesome to see Kevin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor, and Matt Campbell fighting hard for that podium spot.

Team Penske's dedication to racing is inspiring, especially considering they started out as a small garage back in 1959. now, they're the gold standard of racing teams 🏆. man this is crazy 😮 i mean roger penske has been in the game for like 60 years now and he's still pushing it hard i love how team penske has built this amazing legacy with porsche motorsport it's not just about one car or driver, it's about the whole crew working together to make magic happen 🤩 felipe nasr was on fire out there during that final stint and his teammates were super solid too 💪 i'm hyped for what team penske has in store for us this year, especially with the nascar cup series and indycar events coming up 🎉

I'm so hyped for Team Penske!!! 🤩 They're just amazing! I mean, 3 straight wins in a row at Daytona? That's crazy! Roger Penske is literally the coolest 🙏 and his team is on fire 🔥! And can we talk about Felipe Nasr's driving skills? 🤯 The dude is a total boss! It's all about the teamwork and dedication for these guys, you know? They're not just racing for themselves, they're representing their partners, like Porsche Motorsport 👊. Anyway, I'm super excited to see what Team Penske does next. Their 60th anniversary season is going to be EPIC 🎉! 🚀

Penske's winning streak is getting old 🙄. Porsche is basically running their engines for free at this point... I mean, what's the point of even having a team if you're not making any money from it? The only thing that keeps them in business is Roger Penske's pockets 💸. It's like, can't they just sell some sponsorships or something instead of relying on their fancy car tech to bring in wins? 🤷‍♂️

🔥 I mean can you even imagine a team of this caliber running for 24 hours straight?! The Porsche 963 is insane, and those drivers are total rockstars! Felipe Nasr's final stint was pure magic - I'm still on the edge of my seat just thinking about it 😲. Team Penske's dominance is no joke, they're like a well-oiled machine 🤖. And can we talk about how impressive it is that the No. 31 Whelen Cadillac made an epic comeback? That's what makes this win so sweet! Roger Penske is indeed the king of racing 🏆, and I'm hyped to see what he has in store for us next year 💥.

🏎️👏 Man, it's crazy to think that Roger Penske's team is celebrating their 60th anniversary and still killing it in racing! I mean, Porsche Team Penske has been on fire for years now 🚀. That Rolex 24 at Daytona win was epic - the way they worked together as a team was truly inspiring 💪. And Felipe Nasr's final stint drive was insane 🔥!

But what I love most about this win is how it's bringing people together - all those talented drivers and crew members who came together to make it happen 🌟. And can we talk about the drama with that No. 31 Whelen Cadillac? I mean, from starting from the back of the field to almost winning it all... talk about a Cinderella story 💫!

Roger Penske's enthusiasm is just infectious too - he's still so passionate about racing and his team, even after all these years ❤️. And with the 60th anniversary celebrations underway, I'm excited to see what the rest of the season holds for Team Penske 🤔. Bring it on!

oh man, congrats to Porsche Team Penske for their epic win 🏎️! i mean, 3 straight wins at Daytona is no joke 🤯. and can you believe it's Roger Penske's 60th anniversary season? that's like, a whole new era of racing 🔥. i'm lovin' the fact that they went with Porsche 963 entries - it shows how dedicated they are to the sport 💪. felipe nasr's performance was insane 🤩, and i love how team penske is focusing on their crew and drivers too 🙌. can't wait to see what they do next!

🤔 I'm not sure how big of a deal this 60th anniversary win really is... I mean don't get me wrong it's awesome that Team Penske is still killing it after all these years but has everyone forgotten about the Porsche 917 that dominated the sport back in the day? 🚗💨

OMG 🤯 Penske is killing it right now!!! I mean, a 60th anniversary season and a Rolex 24 at Daytona win? That's insane! 🤩 They really are on top of their game with those Porsche 963s 🔴🏎️ Teamwork is everything in racing, and it looks like they've got the perfect combo going on. I'm loving the blue suit tho 😂 Penske's got a good eye for talent, and I think he knows what makes his drivers tick. The comeback story of that Whelen Cadillac was crazy though 🚨 would love to see them push even harder next season! 💪

man this win by team penske just shows how rigged the whole racing scene is 🤥 they've got like a stranglehold on it and everyone else just can't touch 'em. and porsche's involvement just makes it even more suspicious. i mean, 75 years in racing? that's just a fancy way of saying they're old and stale. and don't even get me started on the 60th anniversary celebrations - it's all just a marketing gimmick to make them seem like some kinda legend or whatever 🤑

Man, it's just another way for Team Penske to show off their wealth and resources 🤑... I mean, 60 years of dominance? That's just a recipe for complacency, if you ask me 😒. They're probably just going to coast on their past success rather than actually innovating or taking risks.

And don't even get me started on the No. 31 Cadillac, making a comeback from nowhere and falling short... that's just a prime example of how things don't always work out as planned 🤦‍♂️. I mean, what was going through their minds during that qualifying inspection? It's like they were trying to sabotage themselves.

Roger Penske's comments about Felipe Nasr's driving skills are probably just PR fluff... let's not forget that it's a team effort, and we don't know the full story behind how things went down out there on the track 🤔.

OMG 😍 I'm literally buzzing about this win!!! Team Penske and Porsche are unstoppable 🚀! Roger Penske's dedication and focus really paid off - he's been doing this for like, forever 💪! It's so cool that Felipe Nasr sealed the deal with an epic drive during the final stint 🤩. I'm also loving the comeback story of the No. 31 Whelen Cadillac, even if they didn't take home the win 😊. Can't wait to see what Team Penske has in store for us this season! 🎉🏁
