Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026: The Galaxy S26 lineup and everything else we expect

Samsung is set to host its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026 in February, where it's expected to unveil its latest flagship phone series, including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The company has been tight-lipped about the details, but leaks suggest that the new phones will feature a flat front screen and frame, with rounded corners and cameras housed in a vertical pill-shaped plateau on the back.

The Galaxy S26 is rumored to come with a 6.3-inch FHD+ display, 12GB of RAM, 256GB or 512GB of storage, and a slightly larger 4,300mAh battery compared to the previous generation. The phone's camera system will remain largely unchanged from the Galaxy S25, with a 50-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel ultrawide, 10-megapixel 3x telephoto, and 12-megapixel selfie camera.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be slightly larger than its predecessor, with a new metallic finish that will make the phone's cameras stand out more. The phone may also switch back to using an aluminum frame, rather than titanium frames on previous models. One notable feature of the Galaxy S26 Ultra is that it will no longer support Qi2 charging technology due to the removal of the S Pen digitizer layer.

Samsung's Galaxy Buds 4 are also expected to be announced at Unpacked 2026. The new earbuds will reportedly feature a more compact case and less angular stems compared to their predecessors. They may also include support for head gestures, such as accepting or declining calls, and could work with Google's Find Hub network.

The Galaxy Z TriFold is another upcoming device that Samsung is expected to unveil at Unpacked 2026. The phone was announced last year without firm details on its availability in North America, but it's now set to launch in the US for $2,900. It's unclear how much attention Samsung will devote to the TriFold during the event.

In terms of AI features, Samsung is expected to show off its latest software developments at Unpacked 2026. The company has been exploring partnerships with Perplexity, a search engine that powers Android devices, and accidentally announced a new version of its Bixby AI assistant earlier this year. It's possible that the new Bixby will be integrated with Perplexity and could serve as an alternative to Google Gemini.

Overall, Samsung is expected to unveil some exciting new features at Unpacked 2026, including improved camera systems, enhanced AI capabilities, and innovative new designs for its latest flagship phones.

πŸ€” I think the hype surrounding Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in February is well-deserved. The leaks suggest that we're in for a treat with the introduction of the Galaxy S26 series, particularly the Ultra model, which seems to be getting some exciting upgrades. The flat front screen and frame design might just revolutionize the way we think about smartphones. I'm intrigued by the possibility of Samsung's AI features taking center stage at the event – a potential partnership with Perplexity could lead to some groundbreaking innovations.

But what really caught my attention was the mention of the Galaxy Z TriFold. A $2,900 price tag is steep, but if it delivers on its promises, it could be a game-changer in the world of foldable smartphones. I'm curious to see how Samsung will showcase this device during the event and whether it'll get the attention it deserves.

Overall, Unpacked 2026 has all the makings of an exciting spectacle – innovative designs, cutting-edge AI features, and some truly impressive new hardware. Bring on February! πŸ’»

πŸ“± think samsungs gonna push the boundaries with them new designs, like that flat front screen tho... so sleek πŸ”΄πŸ’» would be nice to see how much battery life they've improved on the s26 compared to the s25 πŸ“ˆ

πŸ€” so the galaxy s26 series is coming out in feb 2026... that's pretty chill i guess. but honestly, we've been waiting for like 2 years now for a decent upgrade to this series πŸ™„. i mean, a flat front screen and frame, rounded corners... it's not really new tech anymore. the camera system might be cool, but if the s26 ultra doesn't support qi2 charging, that's a major bummer πŸ’”. and can we talk about how samsung is just reusing old ideas for their earbuds? like head gestures on the buds 4? πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ it's cute, but i need some real innovation there.

anyway... i'm hyped to see what samsung has in store for us. improved ai capabilities and new designs are always exciting πŸŽ‰. maybe this will be the year they finally deliver on their promises of more sustainable materials and eco-friendly production processes πŸŒΏπŸ‘

I'm so down for the Galaxy S26 launch 🀩! I mean, who doesn't love a good camera upgrade? That 50-megapixel main camera is gonna be fire πŸ”₯. And with those rumors about the flat front screen and frame, I think it's gonna be a game changer in terms of aesthetics. Plus, the fact that they're bringing back the S Pen digitizer layer on the Galaxy S26 Ultra is music to my ears 🎢. Those are some nice upgrades for sure. And can't wait to see what Samsung has in store for us with the new earbuds and head gestures πŸ˜‚. I'm a bit skeptical about the Galaxy Z TriFold though, $2,900 is a pretty steep price tag even for me πŸ’Έ. But hey, it's Samsung, so I'll be tuning in to find out more about it πŸ“Ί. Bring on Unpacked 2026! πŸ‘

I'm so stoked about the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in Feb 🀩! I mean, who doesn't love a good tech reveal? Samsung is gonna drop some serious knowledge, and I'm low-key hoping for some major design upgrades πŸ“ˆπŸ”₯. The flat front screen and frame sounds like a game-changer - it's time to say goodbye to those bezels πŸ‘‹. And can we talk about the camera system on the Galaxy S26? 50-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel selfie cam... I'm sold! πŸ“ΈπŸ‘

But what really gets me is the possibility of a new Bixby AI assistant that's integrated with Perplexity πŸ’». This could be a major player in the AI game, especially if it can compete with Google Gemini πŸ€”. And let's not forget about the Galaxy Z TriFold - $2,900 is a serious investment, but I guess you get what you pay for πŸ’Έ.

All in all, I'm hyped to see what Samsung has in store for us at Unpacked 2026 πŸŽ‰. Bring on the tech! πŸ’₯

OMG 🀯 I'm already hyped for the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event! It's going to be lit πŸ’₯ with all the new updates from Samsung. I'm specifically excited about the potential design changes - a flat front screen and frame? That sounds so sleek and futuristic πŸ”₯. And can we talk about the camera system? A 50-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel ultrawide, and 10-megapixel telephoto lens? πŸ“Έ I'm already drooling over here.

I also love that Samsung is investing in its AI features - a new Bixby AI assistant with Perplexity integration sounds like a game-changer πŸ’». And the fact that they're not limiting their focus to just the flagship phones means there's something for everyone 🀩. The Galaxy Z TriFold launch date, though, is a bit of a mystery... are we going to see more of this innovative design? We'll have to wait and see 😏.

What do you guys think about the new earbuds - the Galaxy Buds 4? Will they be as game-changing as everyone says? 🎧

man i remember when sony's vaio laptops were the best lol i'm still using my vaio cx900 from like 2012 haha anyway samsung is always trying to one up each other with their new tech and design yeah the galaxy s26 ultra sounds lit with that metallic finish and the removal of qi2 charging, but wouldn't it be cool if they brought back the s pen digitizer layer? i'm not sure about the head gestures on the galaxy buds 4 though, i like my old way of accepting calls lol but i guess that's just me. oh and the galaxy z tri fold sounds so expensive whoa $2900 is crazy!

I'm so done with these flagship phone launches πŸ™„. Like, who gets excited about a phone that's just gonna have a slightly bigger battery? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ The Galaxy S26 Ultra is basically just the same phone as the S25 Ultra, but with a fancier finish πŸ€‘. I mean, don't get me wrong, it looks nice and all, but it's not like it's gonna change the game or anything.

And don't even get me started on the camera system πŸ˜’. 50 megapixels is so last year. Can't Samsung just innovate for once? πŸ€” The fact that they're keeping the same cameras as the S25 is just lazy. I'm not saying it's bad, but I want to see some real upgrades before I get hyped.

On a related note, has anyone else noticed how everyone and their grandma owns a Galaxy phone now? πŸ˜‚ It's like, Samsung has basically become the default choice for Android users or something. I swear, the only reason people upgrade is because they feel pressured by their friends or family 🀣.

Lastly, I'm still salty about the whole Qi2 charging thing 🚫. Like, what's up with that? Can't Samsung just stick to a standard charger like everyone else? πŸ™„

Samsung's gonna bring the heat πŸ’₯ with their new S26 series. Flat screens and cameras on a stick? Game-changer πŸ“±πŸ‘€. Can't wait to see if they can make it feel less like a gimmick πŸ€”.

I'm super hyped about the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in Feb 2026 🀩! Samsung's got some serious competition with Apple on their hands this year and I think they're gonna bring A-game to the table πŸ’₯. The idea of a flat front screen and frame, along with rounded corners, sounds like a total game-changer for mobile phones πŸ“±. I mean, who doesn't love a clean design? And with those rumored specs on the Galaxy S26+, it's looking like Samsung's really stepped up their camera game πŸ’ͺ.

And can we talk about how excited I am for the Galaxy Buds 4? Compact cases and head gestures? Yes, please! 🎧 I've been eyeing those new earbuds since they were announced and now that they're gonna be released alongside the flagship phones, it's almost too much to handle 😍.

But what really caught my attention was the removal of Qi2 charging tech from the Galaxy S26 Ultra πŸ€”. Like, who needs that? It's a total no-brainer for Samsung to ditch that outdated tech and go with something better πŸ’».

I'm also curious about how much Samsung will focus on their AI features at Unpacked 2026 πŸ€–. With those partnerships with Perplexity and the new Bixby AI assistant, it's clear they're trying to shake things up in the world of mobile AI πŸ’₯. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us!

OMG, I'm so stoked 🀩 about the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event! Samsung always brings the heat with their new flagships, and this year is looking like it's going to be EPIC πŸ’₯. The rumors are out, and I'm loving the sound of that flat front screen on the S26 series - it's gonna look so sleek and modern 😎. And can we talk about those cameras? 50-megapixel main camera, yeah please! πŸ“Έ I'm also hyped to see what new AI features Samsung is going to unveil - I've heard rumors of a more integrated Bixby assistant, which could give Google's Gemini a run for its money πŸ’ͺ.

I do wish they'd bring back the S Pen digitizer layer on the S26 Ultra, that was such a game-changer πŸ€“. But overall, I'm super excited to see what Samsung has in store for us at Unpacked 2026 - new designs, improved cameras, and innovative AI features are all winners in my book πŸ‘. Bring it on! πŸ’₯
