Samsung’s discounted microSD Express card more than doubles your Switch 2 storage

Samsung's P9 microSD Express card is currently on sale, offering a discounted price of $40 for the 256GB model and $79.99 ($40 off) for the 512GB version – which is one of its best prices to date. This means that buyers can expand their Nintendo Switch 2 storage by up to 2TB, giving them more flexibility in growing their digital library.

The issue with the Switch 2's internal storage is that it can quickly fill up with large game downloads. For example, Cyberpunk 2077 takes up 59GB and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on the Switch 2 is a 93GB download – combining these two would use over half of the console's internal storage. This leaves gamers with limited space to store their games.

Samsung's P9 microSD Express card addresses this issue by offering faster storage speeds that can handle the Switch 2 without negatively impacting performance. It also provides the flexibility to add games without running out of space, making it a smart investment for gamers who want to build up their digital library.

In addition to its compatibility with the Nintendo Switch 2, Samsung's P9 microSD Express card can also be used with other compatible devices such as cameras, tablets, and drones that support microSD cards. This makes it a versatile option for users who need expandable storage across multiple platforms.

Ugh, I'm so done with Samsung making these deals 🤦‍♂️! First of all, $40 off for the 256GB model is still pretty steep considering they're basically just reselling their existing product. And don't even get me started on the 512GB version being overpriced 😒. I mean, come on Samsung, if you want to make a sale, be competitive with other brands!

And have you guys noticed how every time they release something new, it's always a 'limited time offer' 🕰️? Like, what even is the point of that? It just makes me think they're trying to rush people into buying before I change my mind. And then it's all gone in an hour... 🤯

I do agree though, that 2TB of expandable storage is a lifesaver for those Switch 2 users 👀. But can't we get some more innovative solutions from Samsung instead of just rehashing old tech? 🤔
