Scottish roundup: Hearts go seven points clear after beating nine-man Dundee United

Hearts have further tightened their grip on the Scottish Premiership title with a convincing 3-0 victory over Dundee United, sending Rangers and Celtic seven points and nine places behind in the table. Landry KaborΓ© scored a double for Hearts, while Alexandros Kyziridis sealed the win from the penalty spot after Amar Fatah's dismissal.

The win has boosted Hearts' chances of claiming the championship, as they now sit seven points clear of Rangers and nine ahead of Celtic, who face Dundee United in the fixture between them. The victory was all the more impressive given that Dundee United were reduced to nine men, with Fatah sent off for a foul on the edge of the penalty area.

Despite being nine points behind their title rivals, Hearts' manager Derek McInnes expressed pride in his team's performance. "I thought Kabore led the line well," he said. "Obviously, a lot has been made recently about key players being out so you're looking for somebody to take over that goalscoring threat, and Kabore stepped up tonight. Two great goals, led the line brilliantly."

The win also brought Motherwell within striking distance of Celtic, as they secured a 2-0 victory at Livingston with Tawanda Maswanhise scoring twice. The Zimbabwe international's second goal came in the half-hour mark, and Elijah Just had to hit the woodwork to prevent him from adding a third.

In contrast, Livingston's struggles continued, with news that Kilmarnock had thrashed Aberdeen 3-0 at Rugby Park to move six points clear of the bottom. The Dons' problems mounted when captain Graeme Shinnie was shown a straight red card for a high challenge, and Tyreece John-Jules added the third soon after.

Finally, St Mirren and Dundee drew goalless at Love Street, with Stephen Robinson suggesting that he would consider appealing against Jake Young's dismissal for catching Brad Halliday on the foot. The decision to give Young a red card was upheld by the video assistant referee, but Robinson hopes that it will be reviewed again in order to overturn the ruling.

omg what happened 2 Rangers & Celtic lol they really got caught off guard by Hearts 🀯 Hearts are doing so well rn, I think its gonna be a close season tho. Hearts have been on fire this year tho kyziridis is such a talented player πŸ™Œ I'm still rooting for Motherwell tho, their second goal was insane 😲 Livingston's having a bad day i feel 4 them

omg u can't make this up hearts r killing it rn they got 3-0 over dundee united and now they're like 7 points clear of rangers & celtic lol what a turnaround from last season they must be buzzing in the squadrooms πŸ€©πŸ†

idk why everyone's so down on Hearts rn πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ they're killin' it out there! KaborΓ© and Kyziridis are straight fire πŸ”₯ and McInnes is doin' a great job as manager πŸ™Œ his team's got heart (get it?) πŸ’– and now they're in the mix for that title, who cares if rangers and celtic are 7pts behind? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ at least hearts are consistent πŸ”₯ and it's not like they've been lucky or somethin' πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ they earned this win fair & square πŸ’―

omg Hearts are killing it right now πŸ’₯😍! I mean 3-0 over Dundee United is just insane!!! Landry KaborΓ©'s double and Alexandros Kyziridis's penalty goal were both so sick 🀩πŸ”₯. I'm loving how Derek McInnes is keeping it real too, proud of his team for stepping up when it matters most πŸ’―. And can we talk about Motherwell's Tawanda Maswanhise, the guy's on fire πŸ”₯πŸ’¨! 7 points clear at the top? Hearts are definitely in the mix now πŸ†πŸ‘Š

so i'm thinking hearts are gonna take the title now? πŸ€” 7 points clear of rangers and celts is huge, especially with them beating dundee united at home... those penalties are always a game changer 🎯 landry kaborΓ©'s goals were pure class, he's definitely stepped up in the absence of key players. but still, it's not over yet, celts have a tough one coming up against dundee united and rangers are closing in fast πŸ’ͺ

Man I'm telling ya this is all too suspicious... Hearts just so happens to win every game, and now they're seven points clear of Rangers and Celtic? It's like they've got some inside help or something 😏. And what's up with Dundee United getting sent off nine men and still losing 3-0? That's just not possible in a normal game, you know? πŸ€”

And have you noticed how the other teams are struggling? Like Motherwell comes from nowhere to be within striking distance of Celtic, and then Kilmarnock thrashes Aberdeen 3-0? It's like someone's pulling the strings here... 🎭. And what about that red card for Graeme Shinnie? That's just a coincidence, right? πŸ˜’

I mean, I'm not saying it's a conspiracy or anything, but it feels like something fishy is going on in this league. Maybe we should start looking into the referees' decisions... πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈ

This is a pretty big win for Hearts and I'm not seeing how Rangers & Celtic can keep up now πŸ€”. 9 men down against 11, and still manage to take home the points? That's what I call impressive! πŸ‘ But let me ask this - did Dundee United have any injuries or suspensions that might've impacted their performance? And what exactly did Rangers do wrong this week to slip up so badly behind Hearts? Need some stats & sources here πŸ€“

OMG 🀯 Hearts are FLYING ✈️! They're 7 points clear of Rangers and Celtic now, which is CRAZY 🀯! I mean, KaborΓ©'s double was SICK πŸ”₯ and that penalty from Alexandros Kyziridis was a MASTERSTROKE πŸ™Œ. And Dundee United getting reduced to 9 men? Unbelievable 😱! Derek McInnes must be SO proud of his team πŸŽ‰.

But what's up with the other teams? Rangers and Celtic are 7 points behind Hearts now, which is a BIG gap βš–οΈ. Motherwell's moving up the table though, nice to see πŸ‘. And Livingston? 😳 That Kilmarnock thrashed Aberdeen 3-0 tho 🀯! St Mirren and Dundee drawing goalless was pretty meh πŸ™„.

Stats alert πŸ“Š: Hearts' win is their 10th in a row this season, which is RECORD-BREAKING πŸ“š! They've also scored 32 goals in the last 12 games, which is AVERAGE 2.67 goals per game 🎯. Not bad at all 😎.

Chart time πŸ“ˆ: Here's how the Scottish Premiership table looks now πŸ€”:

Hearts: 57 points (78%) πŸ‘
Rangers: 50 points (64%)
Celtic: 43 points (55%)

What do you guys think? Should Hearts be favorites for the title now? πŸ€”

πŸ†πŸ’ͺ Hearts are killin' it this season! 😎 3-0 win over Dundee United is huge 🀯! KaborΓ©'s double and Kyziridis's penalty save πŸ’¦ were all the key πŸ™Œ. With Rangers & Celtic 7 points behind, they're in a tough spot πŸ”οΈ. But McInnes is proud of his team, and rightly so πŸ‘. Kabore stepped up big time πŸ˜ƒ! Meanwhile, Motherwell are getting closer to Celtic πŸ”. Livingston's struggles keep on going πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. Kilmarnock just took another step away from the bottom spot πŸ’¨. And St Mirren & Dundee drew goalless - not sure what's goin' on with them 😐.

I'm loving this Scottish Premiership drama 🀩! Hearts are really stepping up their game and I think they've got a good shot at taking that title now 😎. Rangers and Celtic have been struggling, which is crazy considering how strong they usually are πŸ’ͺ. But you can't underestimate Dundee United's win against Celtic, that was a huge result for them πŸ™Œ. And Motherwell's on the rise too! It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out in the coming weeks and months ⏰. One thing for sure, it's been an exciting season so far πŸ˜ƒ

I'm so stoked for Hearts right now! They're killing it in the Scottish Premiership and I think they've got a good shot at winning it all πŸ’ͺ. I mean, 3-0 over Dundee United? That's just crazy! And to think Rangers and Celtic are way behind them now... it's like, they were so focused on their own games that they forgot about the rest of us πŸ˜‚. But seriously, Hearts' manager Derek McInnes seems really proud of his team's performance, and I can see why – they played some amazing stuff out there! The new guy Landry KaborΓ© is looking like a real game-changer... fingers crossed he keeps scoring like that πŸ”₯.

omg can't believe Dundee United got thrashed 9 men down 🀯 and Hearts just won that easily lol what's going on with Aberdeen they're getting destroyed left and right πŸ˜‚ they need to get their act together or else they'll be playing in the Championship before you know it πŸ’Έ St Mirren and Dundee draw is kinda boring tbh didn't really see much of that match πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ anyway, Hearts are looking good now they've got a clear gap at the top I'm loving this season so far πŸ˜ƒ

The Scottish Premiership is heating up πŸ”₯! Hearts' win over Dundee United has given them a huge boost, and they're now looking like serious title contenders πŸ†. Their 3-0 victory was sweet, especially with Landry KaborΓ© scoring twice 🎯.

I've drawn a simple diagram to show the new table standings:
```
Hearts | Rangers | Celtic
-------|--------|--------
30pts | 23pts | 16pts
```
Hearts are now seven points clear of Rangers and nine ahead of Celtic. It's going to be an exciting final stretch! ⏰

Meanwhile, the other teams are having their own battles. Motherwell's win over Livingston has brought them closer to Celtic 🌟. And on the other side, Aberdeen is struggling at the bottom – hope they can turn things around soon πŸ˜•.

I've also drawn a quick ASCII art of a football field with some goals scored:
```
It's been a wild week in the Premiership, and I'm excited to see what happens next! 🀩
