idk how anyone thought postecoglou was the answer tho dyche's got experience on his side & knows how to get results out of players who've been given too much rope i think forest made some decent signings but they need someone who can get them working together ASAP, not just throw a bunch of cash at it like they did last season

im think dyche is defo good choice 4 forest lol, his defensive record is pretty impressive & u can see why they wanted him 2 help sort out their attack issues . i mean, hes not gonna come in & change the team's playing style overnight, but if he can bring that stability nd organization, i think forest can stil compete w/ other teams in the league . nd i agree w/ u about the nostalgia factor, dyche's got a good rep 4 being able t bring out the best in his players & i'm sure hes gonna try 2 gel w/ the squad . top-10 finish is ambitious but i think its achievable w/ dyche at the helm .

I'm still not convinced about this Dyche fella... I mean, I get what they're saying - his defensive record is solid and all that, but isn't that just a bit... safe? Don't get me wrong, a solid backline is great and all, but where's the creativity? The flair? Nottingham Forest needs someone who can bring some excitement to the pitch, not just bog them down with a bunch of defensive-minded players.

And what about his style being too conservative? I mean, we've seen that before... Burnley was basically a fortress under him, but they didn't exactly set the world on fire. And Everton had some decent seasons, sure, but they were always just one step behind their more ambitious rivals.

I guess it's all about stability and continuity, though - if that's what Forest are looking for, then Dyche might be the guy. But personally, I'd rather see someone who can innovate and take risks. Maybe someone with a bit of an edge...

Like, I get why some people are skeptical about him taking over, but I think his defensive record speaks for itself . He's definitely the kind of manager who can help Forest tighten up their defense and maybe even score some more goals from set pieces ️.
