SoFlo singer rediscovers herself in somber post-breakup EP, ‘in love with disaster’ - WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports | Fort Lauderdale

Miami native Bella Pardo returns with a darker, more somber tone in her new EP "in love with disaster," which marks a significant departure from her previous work. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter, who graduated from the New World School of the Arts, is not afraid to bare her soul and confront the pain of heartbreak.

In an interview, Pardo revealed that her EP was inspired by the post-breakup era, where one must reevaluate themselves and find their lost parts. The title track "in love with disaster" captures this sentiment, with lyrics that reveal a sense of catharsis and liberation. Pardo's voice cracks as she belts out lines like "I'm starting to look like you somehow, somehow I'm turning into you," which she wrote about feeling trapped in a relationship and struggling to express herself.

The EP is not without its complexities, however. Tracks like "Delicate" and "Voodoo" showcase Pardo's ability to tap into the messy emotions that come with heartbreak. While some may interpret "Voodoo" as a diss track aimed at her ex, Pardo insists it's actually about the push-pull feeling of an unrequited love.

With "in love with disaster," Bella Pardo is taking a bold step forward in her artistic journey, embracing her darker side and pushing listeners to confront their own emotions. The EP may be a somber listen, but it's also a powerful exploration of vulnerability and self-discovery.

I'm really intrigued by how Bella Pardo has evolved as an artist 🤔. I mean, she's always had this super catchy vibe in her previous stuff, but now she's diving into some seriously heavy emotions 💔. The way she writes about heartbreak is so raw and honest, it's like she's speaking directly to your soul 🗣️. And that title track? Wow, it gives me chills 😱. I love how she's not afraid to explore the messy parts of her own emotions, even if it means confronting some uncomfortable feelings 💯.

Omg I'm intrigued by this new EP from Bella Pardo 🤔💔 I mean she's totally venturing into darker territory which is kinda refreshing after all the upbeat vibes in her previous work? I can feel the emotions pouring out of her lyrics, especially on tracks like "Delicate" and "Voodoo" it's like you're right there with her through the messy breakup phase 😩💕 And that title track "in love with disaster"... it's like she's embracing the pain instead of trying to avoid it? 💖 What do u think about how bold she is in exploring these vulnerable emotions?

omg i'm loving bella pardo's new ep "in love with disaster" so much 🤯 she's taking such a brave risk by exploring the darker side of her emotions and honestly it's really beautiful 💖 the way she's able to convey this sense of catharsis and liberation is just masterful. i can imagine how vulnerable she must be in order to create something like this, but that's what makes it so relatable 🤗 anyone who's ever been through a tough breakup or struggled with self-discovery will surely connect with her music 💫

I'm so over this whole "tortured artist" vibe 🤣 anyone can write about heartbreak and pain, it takes guts to actually make music that's raw and honest, like Bella Pardo is doing here. The fact that she's not shying away from the darker emotions is what makes this EP so compelling. And yeah, some tracks might be a bit intense (I'm looking at you "Voodoo"), but that's all part of the cathartic experience, right? I love how she's not afraid to get real and vulnerable with her listeners. It's like she's inviting us into her inner circle, warts and all 🤗

I'm really feeling Bella Pardo's new direction 💔😩. I mean, we've all been there - heartbreak is like, super painful 🤕. And I love how she's not afraid to be vulnerable on this EP. I gotta say, I'm intrigued by Bella Pardo's new direction 🤔. Her music is like, super emotional and honest 💖. I love how she's exploring the pain of heartbreak on her EP "in love with disaster". It's like, relatable, you know? We've all been there, struggled to express ourselves in relationships... 🌑

But what I think is dope is that she's not afraid to be vulnerable and bare her soul. It takes a lot of courage to create music like this 💪. And I'm curious to see how fans will react to the more somber tone - will they connect with it? 💬

The title track "in love with disaster" gives me chills 😱. The lyrics are so raw and honest... it's like she's speaking directly to your soul 🗣️. And I'm excited to hear her story behind each song - the inspiration, the emotions... 💭

This EP is straight fire 🔥, I'm loving how Bella Pardo isn't afraid to dive into the messy stuff - heartbreak, pain, all that good jazz 💔. It's not always easy listening, but that's what makes it so impactful, you know?

[🤖💔] Bella's new EP is like me after I finish a Netflix binge... 🍿😴 Darker, more somber, and totally not ashamed about it 💁‍♀️! [😂] Her voice cracks like my favorite mug after one too many hot cups ☕️. On a serious note tho, her lyrics are like a mirror held up to our messy emotions 📸💔. [🎶] Can't wait for the next track... or maybe I'll just play this EP on repeat and pretend I'm in love with disaster 💔😂

Ugh I'm literally so here for this new ep by Bella Pardo!!! 🤯 she's been hiding in the shadows with her bright pop vibes and now she's finally unleashing her true self on us. like i love how dark and intense "in love with disaster" is, it's honestly a masterclass in capturing that messy post-breakup feeling. I mean we've all been there, right? 😩 those lyrics are just like my emotions on repeat 🎶 Bella's not afraid to get vulnerable and raw, which i think is so inspiring for her fans. she's like "hey guys, let's explore the parts of ourselves that we're too scared to face" 🌟

I'm not sure how I feel about this new EP from Bella Pardo... 🤔 It's like she's trying to show off her emotional depth or something? The whole "post-breakup era" vibe is kinda played out if you ask me. And don't even get me started on the title track - it sounds like a super depressing playlist for when you're having a bad day 😒 I mean, I can appreciate the catharsis and all that jazz, but sometimes less is more, you know? And what's with "Delicate" being about heartbreak too? Feels like she's trying to cram every sad emotion into one EP 🤷‍♀️

🎶 I think what's really cool about Bella Pardo's new EP is that she's not afraid to get raw and honest with her emotions. It's like she's giving us permission to feel all the feels too 🤯. Her music isn't just some happy, upbeat stuff - it's real, it's dark, and it's beautiful in its own way 💔. I love how she's using her pain as fuel to create something so powerful and cathartic 🎵. And honestly, I think that's what makes this EP so special - it's not just about her story, but about our own stories too. It's like we're all in this together, feeling these same emotions and struggling to find ourselves 💖

🤯 I'm loving how Bella Pardo is being super raw with her emotions on this new EP! 🎶 It takes a lot of courage to confront heartbreak like that, especially when you're still young. I think it's awesome that she's using her music as a way to process all the feels and come out stronger on the other side. "in love with disaster" is giving me major vibes of Lana Del Rey - dark, moody, and totally captivating 😍 The way she weaves together these complex emotions into cohesive tracks is really impressive...

I'm not sure I buy into this whole "embracing darkness" vibe... it feels like she's just trying too hard to be edgy 💔. I mean, don't get me wrong, her new EP is definitely a departure from her previous work, but is it really necessary to lean so heavily into the whole "post-breakup existential crisis" thing? It feels like a bit of an overplayed trope 🙄. And some of these lyrics are just kinda confusing... I'm not sure I entirely get what she's trying to say with that line about feeling trapped and turning into her ex 🤷‍♀️. Still, I do think she's got some great songs here, but let's not pretend like this is all genius-level stuff 💁‍♀️.

🤔 I think this new EP by Bella Pardo is so raw and honest, it's like you can literally feel the pain and heartache she's going through. Her voice cracks on some of those tracks, and it gives me chills... it's like she's speaking directly to your soul. I love how she's not afraid to confront her emotions and share them with us, even if they're hard to listen to. It takes a lot of courage to be that vulnerable, and I think that's what makes this EP so powerful 🎶

I'm loving this new direction Bella Pardo is taking with "in love with disaster" 😊 It's like she's tapping into that raw emotion we all try to hide, you know? I mean, heartbreak can be so messy and painful, but sometimes it's the only way to grow. I think what I admire most about her is how honest she is – it's not always easy to sing about your own vulnerability 💔. The way she explores those feelings of being trapped and stuck in a relationship... it's super relatable 🤗. Can't wait to see where this new direction takes her, feels like we're just getting started 💥
