Sony drops new trailer for 28 Years Later: Bone Temple

Sony has dropped a new trailer for its upcoming film "28 Years Later: The Bone Temple", set to hit theaters in January 2026. Directed by Nia DaCosta, the movie promises to take the zombie apocalypse genre to new heights.

Fans of the franchise can expect more of the same blend of suspense and thrills that made the previous films a success. The trailer hints at a possible cure for the zombie outbreak that has ravaged human populations for nearly three decades, but warns that the true horror may lie in the actions of those infected with the Rage Virus.

The story picks up where the sequel "28 Weeks Later" left off, with Spike being rescued from a horde of infected by Sir Jimmy Crystal. This sets the stage for an intense and emotional journey as Dr. Kelson navigates his new relationship and confronts the harsh realities of survival in a world gone mad.

Cillian Murphy returns as Jim, the intrepid bike courier who miraculously survived the first two films, while Chi Lewis-Parry reprises her role as Samson, the Alpha Zombie with a penchant for terrorizing survivors. New additions to the cast include Erin Kellyman, Emma Laird, and Maura Bird.

The trailer teases out some of the film's most intense moments, including an exchange between Kelson and Crystal that raises questions about the true nature of evil, as well as Spike's harrowing experience with Jimmy Crystal's cult. With its promise of a possible cure for the zombie outbreak and a deeper exploration of human nature in the face of catastrophic collapse, "28 Years Later: The Bone Temple" has all the ingredients to be an unforgettable experience.

With its return to form after a successful first two films, this movie will undoubtedly deliver some of the most intense moments we have seen on screen. Will it be enough to redeem the series or simply take the zombie genre further down the road?

OMG, I'm so stoked for this new trailer!!! 🀩 The way they're bringing back Cillian Murphy as Jim and Chi Lewis-Parry as Samson is giving me all the feels! 😍 And with a possible cure for the zombie outbreak, it's like, the stakes are really high now. I'm curious to see how Dr. Kelson navigates this new world, especially with Spike being rescued by Sir Jimmy Crystal... that's some wild stuff right there! 🀯 The cast is looking solid too, can't wait to see Erin Kellyman and Emma Laird in action! 😎 One thing I hope they don't mess up is the pacing of the movie - we've had our fair share of slow moments in the series. Fingers crossed that "28 Years Later: The Bone Temple" lives up to the hype and delivers some serious scares and thrills! πŸ‘»

Omg u guys I am SOOO hyped for "28 Years Later: The Bone Temple"!! 🀯 like i've been waiting for this trailer for ages and let me tell you its giving me ALL THE SUSPENSE πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™€οΈ I mean the fact that they're talking about a possible cure is literally my favorite plot twist EVER πŸ’‘ and of course Cillian Murphy is back as Jim which always makes me go 😍 i'm also really excited to see Chi Lewis-Parry reprise her role as Samson, shes like the ultimate zombie queen πŸ‘‘

But what really got me was how intense the trailer looked like... those scenes were literally giving me nightmares 😱 and I am HERE FOR IT πŸŽ₯ i mean we've been through so much with this franchise already and to see it take another turn is just mind-blowing 🀯 and that last exchange between Kelson and Crystal is literally giving me LIFE πŸ’– can't wait to see how it all plays out in January!

I'm super stoked for this new trailer! The way Nia DaCosta is handling the direction is gonna bring a whole new level of suspense and thrills 🀯. I mean, can you imagine seeing Cillian Murphy's Jim again, all tough and gritty? 😎 And Chi Lewis-Parry as Samson... that Alpha Zombie is straight-up terrifying! 😨

But what really got me is the plot twist with Dr. Kelson and Sir Jimmy Crystal - that's some deep stuff right there πŸ€”. I'm low-key curious to see how it all plays out, especially with the possible cure for the zombie outbreak 🧬. Will they find a way to restore humanity or will we just keep getting more infected? 😬

The cast is looking solid too, with Erin Kellyman and Emma Laird joining the crew πŸ‘. I'm not gonna lie, though... after the last two films, there's some serious weight on their shoulders to redeem the series πŸ”₯. Can they do it? Only time will tell πŸ•°οΈ!

"Be careful what you wish for." 🚨 - I'm both hyped and a bit apprehensive about another installment in this long-running franchise. On one hand, it's awesome that they're bringing back some familiar faces and promising a deeper exploration of human nature. On the other, we've seen this genre done to death (pun intended) before, so can they really take it to new heights? The trailer looks intense, but will it be enough to reinvigorate the series or just be more of the same old scares and thrills? πŸ€”

OMG, I'm literally SO stoked for "28 Years Later: The Bone Temple" 🀩! A new trailer always gets me pumped up about a movie, and this one is giving me all the feels. The way they're hinting at a possible cure for the zombie outbreak? πŸ”πŸ’‰ That's like, my ultimate hope for humanity right now πŸ˜‚. And Cillian Murphy is back as Jim? ❀️ I've loved him in every film he's been in. The cast looks amazing too, can't wait to see Erin Kellyman and Emma Laird bring their A-game πŸ€©πŸ‘. The trailer makes it seem like this movie is going to be super emotional and intense, which is exactly what I'm craving right now after the chaos of 2024 😩. Fingers crossed it'll live up to my expectations and deliver some serious thrills... can't wait for January 2026! πŸŽ₯

omg, i'm so hyped for 28 years later: the bone temple 🀩 it looks like nia daCosta is gonna bring some serious depth to the franchise. the trailer already got me feeling all the emotions - from the intense zombie scenes to the heartwarming moments between spike and jim πŸ€— i love how they're exploring the human side of survival, especially with dr. kelson's journey 🀝 and cillian murphy is back as jim, i'm so here for it 😁 let's just hope they don't mess up after a great start... fingers crossed! 🀞

ugh I'm literally so hyped for this one 🀯 I've been waiting for a solid sequel after those first two films and Nia DaCosta is like the perfect person to bring it back on track πŸ™Œ Cillian Murphy's return as Jim is gonna be everything and more, I can already imagine the emotional toll he'll take on that character throughout this one 😩 and Chi Lewis-Parry as Samson? Iconic villain right there πŸ‘‘ meanwhile Erin Kellyman joining the cast? Game changer in my book πŸ€– Emma Laird and Maura Bird too?! I'm so ready for some serious girl power πŸ’β€β™€οΈ can't wait to see how Dr. Kelson's character evolves, sounds like we've got a real human drama brewing here 😩

🀯 I'm so hyped for this new trailer! πŸŽ₯ The Bone Temple sounds like a wild ride, and with Nia DaCosta at the helm, I know we're in for something special. Cillian Murphy is always on point, and Chi Lewis-Parry's character is already giving me chills 😱. I love how the movie is exploring the human side of survival - it's not just about zombies anymore, but about what we do to each other when all hope seems lost. πŸ€– I'm also curious to see how this new cast adds to the mix. With a possible cure on the table, I'm expecting some serious emotional payoffs. Fingers crossed it'll be enough to bring back some closure for the franchise πŸ’•

πŸ€” I think what's most exciting about this new trailer is how it takes us on a deeper dive into the human condition, you know? We've been so caught up in surviving and fighting against these zombies, but really, that's not gonna solve anything. The true horror is how society falls apart when we're faced with catastrophic collapse. It's like, what does it mean to be human when everything around us is dying? πŸŒͺ️

I think that's what makes this movie so promising - it's not just about the zombies; it's about us. How do we react when our whole world gets turned upside down? Do we hold on to humanity or do we let the darkness consume us? It's a really heavy question, but I think that's what makes this series so compelling in the first place.

Anyway, I'm hyped for this movie! Can't wait to see how it explores all these themes πŸŽ₯

ooh I'm so hyped for this new trailer 🀩 I love how they're still gonna push the boundaries of suspense and thrills, I mean, who doesn't want to see more 28 days of apocalypse drama πŸ˜‚. Cillian Murphy is always a great addition to any movie, his performance as Jim is iconic at this point πŸ‘. I'm curious about the possible cure tho, will it be worth risking? πŸ€” also love how they're exploring human nature in the face of catastrophic collapse, that's some heavy stuff πŸ’₯

πŸ€” idk how they gonna top the last 2 movies πŸŽ₯ but cillian murphy is back and that's a plus 😊 i'm so over these zombie apocalypse movies tho its like we cant escape them anymore lol maybe its time to move on to somethin new? πŸ“Ί what do u guys think about this trailer? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
