Spotify Wrapped is out, and Philly's most streamed artist is no longer Taylor Swift

Philly's Favorite Artists, Songs, and Podcasts Take a Backseat to Global Favorites in Spotify Wrapped 2025.

The wait is over for Spotify users - the highly-anticipated "Wrapped" report has finally been released. For those who may be out of the loop, Wrapped offers a snapshot of your listening habits on the platform, featuring your most streamed artists, albums, songs, and podcasts from 2025.

In Philly, it's no surprise that pop stars Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter were among the top streamers - they dominated the global charts as well. However, it seems that Drake took the top spot in Philadelphia, with Swift coming close behind. Interestingly, Carpenter saw her "Short 'n Sweet" album collect the fourth most streams globally, but fell short of surpassing Philly's favorite, Bad Bunny.

While the city's listening habits haven't changed much from last year, one notable shift is the move up to third place by Morgan Wallen. On the other hand, Zach Bryan and Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) failed to make it into the top five.

According to Spotify Wrapped 2025, the top artists in Philadelphia are Drake, Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, Kendrick Lamar, and Bad Bunny. Meanwhile, the most streamed songs include "I'm The Problem" by Morgan Wallen, "SOS Deluxe: LANA" by SZA, "DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS" by Bad Bunny, and "Short n' Sweet" by Sabrina Carpenter.

The platform's top albums in Philadelphia are marked by a mix of hip-hop and pop hits. Kendrick Lamar takes the lead with his album GNX, while Morgan Wallen's "I'm The Problem" rounds out the top five. Meanwhile, SZA's "SOS Deluxe: LANA" and Bad Bunny's "DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS" made it to the list as well.

For music lovers in Philadelphia, there are plenty of great podcasts to choose from, with The Joe Rogan Experience taking the top spot. Other popular options include This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von, Good Hang with Amy Poehler, Call Her Daddy, and The Daily.

Interestingly, Taylor Swift - a Berks County native and one of the most listened-to artists globally - fell short of becoming Philly's favorite artist this year. Despite being the second most popular in the world behind Bad Bunny, she still managed to collect a staggering number of streams with her new album "The Life of A Showgirl."

Fans can access their Wrapped data on the mobile app and discover more about their listening habits by sorting themselves into one of six "clubs" based on their musical preferences. Spotify also launched an interactive game called "Wrapped Party," where users can try to detect patterns and outliers in their friends' listening habits.

Overall, it's clear that music tastes in Philadelphia haven't changed much from last year. However, there are always new artists emerging, genres to explore, and podcasts to discover - so, what will 2026 bring for Spotify Wrapped?

🤔 So Philly loves its hip-hop, but globally, pop reigns supreme 🎶. Not surprising, tbh, since Taylor Swift & Sabrina Carpenter are killing it worldwide. But I do find it interesting that Drake's more popular in Philly than Bad Bunny 😮, despite the latter's global domination. It just goes to show how diverse people's tastes can be even within the same city 🌎

🤔 I mean come on, Philly is supposed to be all about the hip-hop and R&B scene but Drake and Morgan Wallen are taking over?! 🙄 Where's the love for Bad Bunny and Sabrina Carpenter?! It feels like the whole city got sold out to the global elite 😒. And don't even get me started on Kendrick Lamar's album not being more popular 🤷‍♂️. I'm still gonna keep listening to my own music, tho 💥

🤦‍♂️ so Philly's still repping Drake over Taylor Swift? like what even is that 🙄? anyway, it's not surprising that Bad Bunny takes the spot. he's been killing the game for years and the city loves him 🎉 but seriously, Morgan Wallen's move up to 3rd place is kinda cool 👍 and I'm glad SZA made it to the list too 🎶

🤔 The thing is, I'm kinda surprised at how some global faves like Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter didn't even make it into the top spots in Philly 🎵. I mean, they're super popular globally, but we've got some amazing artists here like Bad Bunny and Morgan Wallen who are killing it locally 🤷‍♀️. It's all good though, more streamin' for them, right? 😊

Spotify's got some weird timing with this Wrapped thing 🤔... like, what took 'em so long to drop it?! anywayz, seems like Philly folks still reppin' the same artists we love 💯. I mean, Drake and Swift are killin' it, but it's kinda funny how Bad Bunny is takin' the top spot in the city 🤷‍♂️. Morgan Wallen's got a decent rise up to third tho, so that's cool! but what's with Zach Bryan and Ye not makin' the cut? 🤔

lol I guess Philly peeps like their global faves over local talent 🤷‍♂️ [link to spotify wrapped 2025](https://www.spotifyWrapped.com) Drake's the real MVP in Philly right now 🤑, but seriously, where's Bad Bunny's "Short 'n Sweet" album? Should've taken out Sabrina Carpenter's album easily 🤦‍♂️ Morgan Wallen's on fire tho, love his country vibes 💃 anyway, I wonder if 2026 will be the year Philly artists finally break through to global stardom 🎶

I'm like what's up with this Spotify thingy? It seems like every artist is just a copycat of someone else now 🤔. Like back in the day when people were creating their own sound, not just rehashing what's hot. Remember when artists like Kanye West and Drake used to be all about pushing boundaries and taking risks? Nowadays it's like they're all just trying to keep up with each other 💁‍♀️. And don't even get me started on how Taylor Swift is now playing second fiddle to some random rapper from Philly 🤷‍♂️. I mean, what happened to the classics? When was the last time you listened to some real music that actually meant something? 🎶

so like I was thinking maybe Philly's love for certain artists is a bit outdated 🤔. I mean Drake takes the top spot here but Taylor Swift is basically global royalty lol. It's kinda surprising Bad Bunny didn't take it over though, considering how big he's been globally 🌎. At the same time, Morgan Wallen making a comeback like that is pretty cool, and I'm curious to see what next year brings for the city's music scene 🎶💥

🚀 I'm not surprised that Philly's musical taste hasn't changed much from last year 🤷‍♂️. But let's look at the stats 💡: Drake is still reigning supreme in Philly 🏆, and Taylor Swift is still a close second 👑. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny takes the fourth spot globally, but falls short of becoming Philly's favorite artist 😊.

But here are some interesting stats for you:

* The most streamed song globally was "SOS Deluxe: LANA" by SZA 💥 (with over 2 billion streams)
* Morgan Wallen has gained 300% in streaming power since last year 🚀
* Bad Bunny's album "DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS" got 100 million streams just this year alone 📈
* The Joe Rogan Experience is still the top podcast, but This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von has gained a lot of ground 📊

And have you seen the Wrapped Party game? 🤔 It's like a Spotify-fueled party 🎉. Users can sort themselves into "clubs" based on their musical preferences, and even play games to detect patterns in friends' listening habits 👫.

Anyway, it's time for Spotify Wrapped 2026 📆... are you ready? 😃

🤔 I'm kinda surprised that Drake took the top spot in Philly instead of Taylor Swift 🙅‍♀️. Like, aren't they basically BFFs or something? 😂 And I feel bad for Sabrina Carpenter's album not getting more streams globally 🎶. Maybe people just didn't know about it yet? 🤷‍♀️ But hey, at least Morgan Wallen is up to third place from last year 📈! And what's with the rise of Ye (formerly Kanye West)? I'm still trying to figure out his vibe 😂...

spotify wrapped is like the ultimate snapshot of ur listening habits lol! i was expecting more phillly rep in da top spots tho 🤔. like, bad bunny and drake are cool n all but its not like we dont love good ol' taylor swift 😂. idk wat happened to zach bryan tho, he was killin it last year 🎸. also, can we talk about how much i luv podcasts?? 📻 joe rogans experience is da real MVP tho 🤯

🤔 Spotify Wrapped is always a letdown 🙄, especially when it comes to Philly's own artists not being as popular as we know they should be 😔. I mean, Drake takes the top spot in the city but Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter are just a few streams behind? And what's up with Morgan Wallen rising from 5th place last year to 3rd this year? 🤷‍♂️ It just goes to show that even when we're listening to our local favorites, there's still room for some global superstars to swoop in and steal the spotlight 💥.

Spotify Wrapped is like the finale of your favorite reality show... except instead of blindsides, it's all about your listening habits 📈😎 So Philly folks are still reppin' Taylor Swift & Sabrina Carpenter, but Drake takes the top spot in the city? That's cool, I guess. Morgan Wallen's on a roll, though - who knew he'd jump to third globally? Anyway, it's always interesting to see how our tastes change (or not) each year... like, what's up with Zach Bryan & Ye not making the cut this time around 🤔

omg did u no phillys love for taylor swift just dipped 🤦‍♀️ she's still a beast globally tho 🎤 but like drake & sabrina carpenter r killin it locally 🚀 bad bunny's got the 4th most streams globally tho i guess we can't compete with global faves 🌎 but it's cool to see morgan wallen on the rise 📈

I mean, what's up with all these global faves beating out local acts? Like, don't get me wrong, Taylor Swift is a total icon, but shouldn't her hometown love be giving Philly artists some more recognition? 🤔 It seems like we're still living in the shadow of Drake and Bad Bunny. Morgan Wallen making it to third place is cool and all, but what about our own city's music scene? I feel like we're missing out on some amazing talent just 'cause they ain't global yet 💁‍♀️. And yeah, Spotify Wrapped always has its fun stats, but can't we get more insight into why certain artists are trending instead of just the usual "oh, they had a hit song"? 🤷‍♀️

I'm like "meh" about this whole thing 😐. Philly's favorite artists and songs getting dethroned by global faves? It's not surprising, tbh. The world is a small place now 🌎. People all over the globe are streaming whatever they're into, so it's only natural that some Philly artists wouldn't crack the top 5. Like, don't get me wrong, Drake and Swift are amazing, but it's not like they didn't expect this 😂.

And honestly, I'm a bit surprised Sabrina Carpenter didn't do better with her "Short 'n Sweet" album 🤔. It's still a catchy track, after all! Maybe next year will be her year? Who knows?

OMG 🤯 the top spot is taken by Drake in Philly 🗽️?! I mean, I love Taylor Swift but like a lot of people, she was kinda close behind 🎵. On another note, I'm so here for the Morgan Wallen and Kendrick Lamar placements 🙌 it's always awesome to see talented artists getting their due respect 🙏. Also, The Joe Rogan Experience is literally the best podcast ever 📻 (I know some people don't agree but lol). Has anyone else noticed that Bad Bunny's album is on the list? I swear he's a Phily fave for real 🤦‍♀️

Spotify Wrapped is like a big ol' snapshot of our listening habits right? 🤔 I mean, I'm glad Taylor Swift is still killin' it globally, but it's kinda weird that she didn't quite crack the top spot in Philly this year 🎵. Bad Bunny was on fire tho! 😂 And I gotta give props to Morgan Wallen for makin' a comeback with "I'm The Problem". What's up with Zach Bryan and Ye not makin' the cut though? 🤷‍♂️

🤔 Philly's favorite artists seem a bit predictable this year. I mean, Drake is cool and all, but he didn't exactly break any new ground on the local scene 🎵. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny is killing it – who wouldn't want to listen to some smooth Latin vibes? 🌴 As for the rest of the city's faves, Morgan Wallen's rise to third place is kinda interesting... did we forget about him last year? 🤷‍♂️
