Sri Lanka braced for more damage after torrential rain kills hundreds across Asia

man... 1300+ people already lost their lives to floods in asia and it's not even over 🤕 asia is just getting hit with one extreme weather after another... indonesia and thailand are getting smashed by these cyclones and landslides... 300 deaths in indonesia alone? that's crazy 😱 and now iran's dealing with a drought that's lasted like 6 years, no water pressure in tehran... not good for anyone 🤕 and in the us, it's winter again and i'm not even kidding about the snow in michigan, over a foot of it! meanwhile, asia just can't catch a break... keep sending help 🚨

🌨️ This is just so sad... Sri Lanka's floods are getting worse by the day, and it's heartbreaking to think about all those lives lost already 🤕 I feel for the people who have to deal with this kind of disaster on a daily basis - can't imagine what they're going through 😓

And meanwhile, in other parts of Asia... Iran is dealing with a drought that's lasted 6 whole years? That's just crazy! And the "lake effect" snow in Michigan sounds like it's really messing up Thanksgiving travel plans 🙄 Not exactly the kind of weather we want to be thinking about this time of year...

I guess what I'm trying to say is... Mother Nature can be pretty unpredictable, and sometimes she just doesn't care who gets hurt 🌪️. We should all be sending our thoughts to Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand, and Iran right now 💕

I cant even imagine how Sri Lanka is dealing with all this flooding 🤕🌊 it's like the whole country is drowning rn, like what a lot of deaths tho... 1300+ already 💔 and still more expected?

anyway, idk about iran but winter in michigan sounds like my worst nightmare ❄️ snow everywhere, can you imagine? at least its just snow for them lol. but flooding is so much worse. hope the people in srilanka are safe 🤞

Ugh, another country getting absolutely hammered by nature's fury 🌪️😩 Sri Lanka already dealing with so much and now it's like the weather gods just can't take a break? Over 1300 lives lost... it's just too much 🤯 And the fact that Indonesia and Thailand are also getting slammed is just heartbreaking. All these countries affected by extreme weather, it feels like we're witnessing some sort of bizarre natural disaster marathon 📺 I'm literally glued to the news all day, watching this unfold 😬 What's going on with our planet? Can't a break come soon? 🙏

Ugh, can't believe how messed up the weather is right now 🌪️😩. I mean, Sri Lanka's already dealing with over 200 deaths from Cyclone Ditwah, and it's not even over yet! The thought of people having to evacuate their homes and live in shelters for days on end is just heartbreaking 😔.

And it's not just Sri Lanka - Indonesia and Thailand are also getting slammed. I don't know how much more these countries can take, you feel me? 🤯 It's like the weather is just merciless right now.

On a slightly related note, have you seen the drought situation in Iran? Like, six years of no rain? That's some serious climate drama 💧. And it's not just the water levels - I heard they've had to stop electricity production at one of their major dams due to critically low levels... that's just insane 😱.

And then there's the US, where winter has returned with a bang 🌨️. Michigan is getting absolutely crushed by lake-effect snow, and it's basically paralyzed right now. Like, I'm not even kidding when I say my family had to cancel our Thanksgiving plans because of the weather 😂. This just seems like one big mess after another...
