I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole UK-China situation

. On one hand, it's sick that Starmer was able to get those concessions from Xi Jinping - whisky exports and all that jazz


. But on the other hand, I gotta think about China's human rights record and how they're being super aggressive with their foreign policy... it's like, you can't just ignore those things, right?
I mean, Starmer is trying to balance economic benefits with national security concerns, but it feels like he's walking on eggshells a bit

. Like, is he compromising too much? Is he doing enough?

It's gonna be interesting to see how this all plays out in the UK and whether Starmer can navigate these complex waters without getting drowned
